--No one is crediting Hue, but I thought he did a great job of managing the game and his positive attitude is uplifting.

--The defense was phenomenal. Our offense put them in terrible situations for most of the game and they held the Rats to 3 FGs. That is incredible.

--Peppers had his best game as a pro. He was very physical. He did well in zone coverage and made some nice plays in pass defense.

--Ward was incredible. He is so smart. So fast. So instinctive. He wasn't perfect, but the dude makes plays.

--Collins was awful in the first half. Looked slow and got sealed. He looked like a different player in the second half. He played much faster.

--Ogujobi is very quick.

--Schobert is the probably the smartest dude on the team.

--The special teams outperformed Baltimore's. They blocked a FG, had a great punting day, and forced a fumble. They didn't recover it, but they still forced it.

--Baker had a lot of ups and downs. He was slow on some of his reads. He missed some throws. He forced some balls. On the other hand, he plays w/confidence and the moment is never too big for him. He also threw some lasers that were extremely accurate. He also escapes pressure. The guy looks like a winner. I'm impressed because he is a rookie and I can live w/some of the growing pains as long as he keeps making plays.

--Landry is a great, great blocker. He is also ultra-competitive. We should throw to him more.

--Glad to see Haley use Duke a little.

--Hyde proved why he is the starter.

--EJ Gains had a very, very good game. Phew.

--Kirksey had his best game. He looked quicker.

--We need more from Myles, even though he gets doubled a lot.

--Chris Smith plays well when he gets on the field.

--Harrison did an outstanding job on Suggs. This kid is the real deal. I'll have more on him in the PFF.

--This team has me caring again. They are fun to watch, but my blood pressure was soaring. I hope the fans and media get behind this group and stop w/the calls to fire people crap!

I'm loving having Dorsey as the GM. I'm really looking forward to what this team looks like in a few years! In 1 year, he's turned around this offense and seemingly hit on most of his picks.

My mistake.

EJ Gaines. Not Carrie.

He covered his man. Played big for us.

One thing I do like about baker: he makes stuff out of nothing more often than not

very adept at checking down to gain 8 on 2nd and 15 ... or scrambling to gain 5 when the play was lost

Little things added up today

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I don't think the defense is getting enough love. Not even close. They won this game.

I was gonna say before the game that when healthy Gaines is pretty good ... his problem in Buffalo was he couldn’t stay healthy and the players in front of him ... they had Darby and Gilmore his first few years when he was healhy ... then they traded Darby and he couldnt stay healthy ....

When healhy he was pretty good ... he can play ... could not have covered Ross today ... to fast ....

Carrie did have a big play near the end of the game when he tossed Snead across the middle of the field ending a 3rd down that went incomplete...other than that didnt really hear from him, which could be good.

Agreed, especially Peppers.

He was incredible today. Open field tackles, setting edges, playing well in coverage.

He played angry. It was fantastic.

you had a good run Hank.

Got back from the game a while ago

Lying in bed with my wife playing "I told you so".

It's different this time around.

Bought a victory football in the Lake Club after the game.

Pretty sure I broke my finger catching a bomb from another Browns fan in the parking lot.

My head is pounding, my voice is straight roached, wouldn't trade it for anything.

Having the time of my life shakin' the lake with my fellow Browns fans this year.

What a day ~ what a victory!

I think this season has brought back memories of 1980....

5 games all decided by 3 points or less. Three OT's in 5 games...

And an OT win!!!!!

I absolutely hate the made up stats... X number of days since a win, well now a Sunday win, then a road win... its disgusting and rubbing salt into an open wound...

There will be wins this year.... how many I don't know, but we don't have to be reminded as to how terrible this team WAS.... not IS..

It's cool. Wear it as a badge of honor. That bs is over. We've remained true. We'll appreciate the sunshine more than other fans can even imagine.

Anyone have a screen capture of the field goal in OT? I saw the Raven guy slip through the horrible block by our guy. He looked real, real close to blocking the kick. I can't believe he didn't.

I can believe that the Browns blocked a kick from the best FG kicker in the entire NFL!

I also can believe we won the freaking game!

Grumpy? That's funny, you have no idea who I am or how I feel.

What "agenda" do I have, dude? It was a simple question. Wow.

heard this too

Vers,
Its so nice to post after a win, I almost do not want to be critical. But schobert is HORRIBLE against the run. But his pass defense is very good!!

I could only count 1 bad play call from Haley! That reverse he tried nearly made me pass out. Also, Old Gregg called a pretty good game. Again, 1 bad play call almost got us.. That blitz on third down were the Ravens hit a screen pass was almost tragic!! Sometimes he is too aggressive.

Other than that, lets just enjoy a win!!

Thank for for the information without trying to belittle anyone.

When watching it in slow motion I couldn't believe it wasn't blocked due to how close the defender was to the kick. I am happy that it wasn't blocked. wink

We have good coaches. Other teams have good coaches. Sometimes we win that battle on particular plays. Other times we lose that battle.

It mostly comes down to talent and a team believing/playing for their coach.

Xs and Os are so freaking overrated in the NFL. And most of the people who think they are the most important aspect of the game are the very same people who don't have a clue about Xs and Os.

Each week we see a lot of negative posts and a few threads that bash Hue.

Thus far, I am the only poster who gave Hue some credit in this game.

Anyone else?

I thought our team's resilience was very good .. a few times we could have folded and didn't ... that has to do with leadership (QB and coach)

I also thought our time management the last drive was spot-on. Leave a little time, a timeout, and try the kick on 3rd down ... all in case a bad snap.

Good points.

Also, we got the ball on right hash mark after both Hue and Haley asked the kicker where he wanted it.

Well done!

shut up.you are so annoying with your 'woah is me' attitude and your 'oh but i like Hue and others don't' BS.

Hue's ok. seems like a good guy. Also has made some bad coaching decisions over the past two years. No, he hasn't been given the best team. Doesn't excuse poor time management.

But jesus christ man. why name call others in an attempt to derail the thread then bitch later that people aren't sticking to football?
