Is Nance hurt? Just wandering why would you give him a nice conntract then not play him? If Lue does not like him/does not play him, why keep him? I love his energy, 100% all the time.

Yep. Sprained ankle, IIRC. Yea. They actually upgraded him to questionable now. Thinking he could return maybe after next game.

I freaking knew the Warriors would come back to win that game

Sexton's attitude is what we need in the post-Lebron era ... I do like how he plays as well, and he'll improve but he's also gotta improve his assist and WAR numbers (he was -15 in the +/- category)

Didn’t see an NBA thread, so just had to post this here.
Charles Barkley is my seat mate right now on a flight. Haha. He’s a hoot.

I met Charles Barkley a long time ago at a Country Club in the Detroit area. He was great. Had everyone laughing and he was also kind. Even though he is a "turrible" golfer, he won the Closest to Hole contest on a par 3. I forget how much cash it was, but he turned around and gave all of the money to the first kid he saw.

Any bets when we’ll get our first win? I’m saying Brooklyn.

LeBron's new team loses again. Now 0-2 also lose 2 players Rondo and Ingram on suspensions for throwing punches.

I hate both teams, so I was hoping they'd all punch each other haha

Lebron has no idea how the fans will turn on him if they don’t start winning. Careful what you ask for playing in a premier market. He may think he’s going to get time, but that fan base expects them to win now

Cavs are scrappy. I don't know how long that will last, considering it's the nba, but that's pretty much what they are now. They'll win some games against the crappy west, and may have the occasional win over a good team, but I really can't believe they tried to keep this thing together. Literally let their pride get in the way.
I said it before, but if you're going to run it this way, then you better have dumped all kinds of money and resources into your scouting department.

They are, I think it’ll take until about December before they get out from habits of playing with lebron. I’ve seen better coaching since anytime since Lue took over. Really shows how much of a coach killer lebron is. I don’t believe he was that coachable. We play up tempo and once we get used to that we are going to wear teams down. Once nance gets back I think we will be even more effective

That ended quickly. Man we are very bad on defense. We have some good athletes but they aren’t great b-ball players yet. Sexton is struggling at this level so far. Young looks like he’s going to be great for Atlanta. TT on Len has him looking like dr J. We seem to want to run but not back on defense

If the Cavs can't beat the Hawks, who can they beat?
And let me say this, I'm a huge Kevin Love fan. Huge. The guy is a double double machine. But man, I don't think I've ever seen a player put up pretty damn good numbers like he does and have so little impact on actually winning the game.
Hopefully, the Cavs can get this figured out. I was looking forward to watching a Cavs win after the heartbreaking Browns loss.

The gap between Sexton and young is huge. Cavs need to stop thinking they are going to win anything this year with this roster, we need the lottery pick

Sexton probablybshould have spent most of this year in dleague, he looks overwhelmed. We have a team with all role players and no leadership. Going to be rough

Don't we lose the lottery pick if is top 10? Or is it the other way? it’s lottery protected. So if we are in lottery we keep if not we lose. Which this whole not tanking is asinine, it’s exactly what they need to do or this rebuild will take forever
