This is where I'm at right now. The team has money and draft capital, if they want to compete, they need to bring in players that can help, and do it now. Continuing to let the team flounder with no depth and many injuries, just makes it harder for a rookie QB to develop, make a move to shore the thing up.

I don't understand Dorsey not signing a receiver, when it is painfully obvious that Baker has one option.

Another thing I don't understand, is DeValve. He makes plays everytime he is on the field, yet he never plays. I think that is on Haley.

The more I look at this, I think Haley might be the problem.

James Conner is really good. Good for him

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Need a new kicker? Hue: “we’ll see” #Browns

It is the Pittsburgh system. Over the years there have been multiple RBs that looked great, yet when traded, they were average at best. Makes me wonder if Bell is really as good as most think. This kid is doing everything he did.

Hue asked why he didn’t use timeouts late in the second quarter: Honestly I don’t even recall that.

If I am Jimmy Haslem I just can't keep Hue, I mean if I claim to be a good business man how could I justify keeping a person who is so bad for my business ...

I also agree with signing a vet receiver. I do not claim to be a GM, but why we dont use some of the massive amount of money we have is head scratching to me.

Chubb is playing very well so that's making the trade sting less but how about getting some more talent at other positions.

Yeah our ultimate goal is to protect our #1 investment (Baker) however we let him get murdered week in and out...

Baker has no weapons, and he is getting killed out there...

We have known for over 8 weeks we have noone besides Landry to throw to...but we sit on our own hands and think bottom of the league practice squad talent is going to help Baker stud out? ...lack of sense going on...like I said even if they have given someone a 1 year deal to at least give Baker an outlet or someone whom knows how to get open..

While I say Baker is far from perfect...you cant expect him to progress when you give him s$!t to play with.

That is incredible.I'm starting to turn on Hue, even though I don't want to. I still think Haley is the problem.

Play does not match expectations.

This is just not true. He's one of the best defensive players in the league and it's his second year.

He must have something against Garrett because anyone making that statement makes us see he doesn't know much about the game when Garrett is one of the top DE's in the NFL and 31 other team would love to have him ...

Consistently blocked 1 on 1.

Consistently runs himself out of plays.

Opposing Os run right at him because he always runs himself out of plays.

Does not make game changing plays during the most critical situations.

I think people are confusing being the #1 overall pick as instantly being good.

I'm not saying he's not part of the core that will hopefully be leading this team in the future. I'm not saying I don't want him. But he's not been a game changer.

And I admit, I am a tough critic. And I'm hardest on the players who are supposed to be the best.

Myles Garrett set the Browns Franchise Record for most sacks through half a season, 8, today.

It doesn't seem like Mayfield is allowed to change the protection (or play) at the line.

He is doubled on more than 3/4 of the plays and held on about 90% of his snaps watch the game and you will see it ...

I hope that's not true.

Or maybe he doesn't know what he's seeing.

Either case would be bad.

To me, Baker's confidence (which is a HUGE asset) looks shot. Doesn't have the same swagger or assuredness

I do know that teams love running at him

i just thought of something that made be totally depressed:

Brandon Weeden still managed to get 5 wins in 2012 as a rookie. there's a great chance Baker doesn't reach that this season.

It all changed, to me, after a complete overreaction to his mistakes in the Chargers game. They stressed check downs all week. Came out with a soft, check down game plan the following week.

Has not been the same since.
