I don't think he is allowed to have our play book.
I don't believe I was ever allowed to have one either but I do from one season, along with printed up game plans for offense, defense, and special teams from some games, and the videos used to study other teams tendencies.
BTW The playbook form this year was Haley's but Hue did have a copy
So cool GM
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!
kinda funny how when analytics was introduced with the prior regime everyone was saying how genius was the front office was but now that Hue is taking that idea to Cincy its a,joke. Browns win a game all of a sudden the franchise can do no wrong
I don't think you're getting why people are laughing at the idea of Hue and analytics.
At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.
j/c - I don't think there is a poster here that doesn't recognize that every team in the NFL and probably all of professional sports that uses analytics....
However some teams use it more and some less. And Hue - isn't an analytics guy.
The more things change the more they stay the same.

Oh I totally agree on that point. Hue wasn't really much of anything coaching wise lol
Eases the OC neck turn when looking over his shoulder ...
I’m glad it worked our for Hue ... no ill will for him or Sashi ... wish them both the best others than Hue can lose very game except when we need them to beat the rats or stilers ...
Worse D in the league, freshly fired DC, what do they have to lose? The worse that could happens is they move sideways. It'll be interesting to see how they handle Lamar.

Desperate to win games, the Browns are apparently thinking way outside of the box and are considering former US Secretary Of State Condoleezza Rice as a candidate for their head coaching vacancy
This is just an outright LIE. Where have we ever considered Ms. Rice as a candidate for the HC job...Where. Show me where Dorsey, Haslam has stated this?
This is from an April Fools joke in November by ESPN and their desperate experts. I hate when they make up stuff and lie about our Browns...but then ESPN are a bunch of Liberals and they have made a point to put themselves into politics. So I guess that is par for the course....LIE AND MAKE UP STUFF...

Somewhere on Twitter someone posted that Dorsey thought there was a leak among those who are involved in the coach search and he used this ridiculous story to expose the leak. It supposedly did and that person is no longer involved in the search.
What ticks me off is the reports that Rice turned down the job. It was never offered, was not going to be offered.
She was asked about the reports, and say she was not qualified. What's wrong with that?

Time for the know it all in this Forum to eat some crow....
Don't want to rub the firing Hue on their faces, but since I don't see any constriction posts, I do not think we should let this pass.
If anything is being proven is that the ones who were here asking for Hue to be fired some seasons ago were right.
I've made several posts regarding this and stating I was wrong. Hue should never have survivied the first season based on what we have seen since his departure. I supported him for 2+ years.
Now I've made that statement, how about you admit that you were wrong with Baker? Don't spin it like you just wanted to wait and see more. The media, fans and ex players all saw something special in this rookie and you were praising Rosen Allen and Darnold. Repent! All will be forgiven.
The more things change the more they stay the same.
I was on the fence about Hue myself ... I wanted to give him the benefit. It looks like he was a big part of the problem here, at least 3 games later. Can't believe how drastic the change has been
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Are you going to eat your crow about Baker?
There are alot of people who need to eat crow about Baker. For some, a double dose of crow with Hue AND Baker. Its from the same couple of guys who qualified posters about knowing, or not knowing, football. Boy, that backfired.

Agreed. the ones who constantly bashed others for "not knowing football" or "not having football talk" are the ones who should be eating crow.
FYI, its week two for Hue with Cincy and hes winless there too!
I feel much better about the Browns. The atmosphere is much better, the guys have more energy, there are less penalties, the offense looks like it has been unleashed. I certainly believe a lot of this is coaching. Some of it is no doubt our younger guys continuing to improve and develop as time goes on. The bye week surely helped with this, as it often does.
I think I got all the Hue frustration out of me. Don't hold me to this, but I doubt you'll hear me say anything more about him until the next Bengals game and maybe not even then. Hey, he's a coach there, that's fair game IMO.
This coaching change has exceeded even my expectations.. especially how fast and how stunning the turnaround has been. It's just simply an amazing change in a few short weeks where I kind of figured it would take months and manifest itself more next season.
I think we all kind of see what's happened with the team. I'm going to try to look more at the future.. it sure looks bright.. rather than at the past.
Well, Huey talks about analytics, given the right audience of course. But he doesn't follow it much, get it much, or use it well. That is how you lose 18 plus and bust on draft picks. Just another bad area for Hue. Hats off to Mayfield after the game; well played, rook, well played.

Hue is gone and it's time to move on. Williams has created a different atmosphere and it's showing on the field. I was never a Hue Jackson fan but always held out hope he would right the ship. Knowing what we know now, he should have been fired after 1-15. A new era under Dorsey looks bright.
I just want a winner. We need players who can be part of the solution not part of the problem.
I was a Hue supporter. I liked him, I still do and thought he was a good coach. After seeing what has happened since he left I'm man enough to admit I may have been wrong. My Browns actually look like an NFL team and I can't remember the last time I was able to say that. It feels good.
How many times did we hear Hue, post-game, gonna "coach em up"? Only to see the same friggin problem, again and again, over and over, no improvement
To your point, from Jason Lloyd....
Mayfield is more involved in the offense since Freddie Kitchens began calling plays, a number of sources said Sunday. But it’s not just Mayfield. Up and down the offense, Kitchens has involved everyone on the play calling — even the offensive linemen.
As the time and distance between Jackson and the Browns grows, so do the reasons for why everything looks so different now. A number of players mentioned Sunday how much faster the tempo is at practice under Williams than it was under Jackson. The competitiveness in practice has been raised, too.
“Games are fast,” one defensive player said Sunday. “It’s hard to play fast on Sundays when you aren’t practicing fast during the week.”
Williams has also adopted the idea of focusing on one task every day. While Wednesdays are typically game-plan installation days, another day the goal is no turnovers and yet another day the focus is on perfect execution. And Sundays also have their own title: Savage Sundays. That certainly has been the case the last two weeks — particularly when Randall handed his interception to Jackson.
