But moving those chains leads to scores. It just takes a little more time.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Right now, landry has the highest yards/catch for his career.

He is on pace for over 1000 yards. He has as many plays of 20+ yards this year as he did all of last year.

He is definitely being hurt by the fact that we have had so many injuries to the other WR positions, especially since we run so many 3 WR formations.

He has definitely produced scores over his career. He scored 9 times last year, and this was tied for 10th in the NFL, and was the same as Antonio Brown. He has not been a top scoring threat in every season of his career, but he has been productive. He has caught 1st down after 1st down, which is also extremely important to a team.

We just have to get the receivers we have left all on the same page as the QB.

Im not saying Landry is a bad player - I was just pointing out that he doesn't get yards like another poster suggested.

I am perfectly overjoyed we have him, even if this last game has given me some concern on his temperament - at times.

Just trying to point out that we have a specific type of player in him and he has a specific skill set that is not going to change.

I think a lot guys on this board think he is magically going to get us 1500 yards and 12 TDs, he is not going too. Just not that type of receiver, and that is perfectly ok.

j/c:

Maybe if Baker would actually throw him the ball when he is open, his numbers would not be down? Maybe it would help if Baker would actually see him?

Landry had more catches in his first four years of any WR in the entire history of the NFL. He didn't suddenly lose it in year 5.

Agenda or sarcasm?

Edited for YTow'ns quote from above:

I didn't know where else to put this, but we are no longer last in drops anymore! Thanks Jaguars!

I wonder what that percentage is for the last three weeks.

Our guys have suddenly stopped dropping passes. I noticed that about a month ago.

Not only that, they've made a few amazing catches.

it helps when the QB who is starting actually has some practice time with the guys catching the ball.

Bills Release Kelvin Benjamin

https://www.yahoo.com/sports/bills-release-veteran-receivers-benjamin-holmes-222305898--nfl.html

Wasn't sure where to put this.. not relevant enough for it's own thread.. but could be an interesting discussion.

At the bottom of that article, it says that Denzel Rice is on the Bills. I thought he was still on the Browns.

I hope he's on the Bills; give them some ST penalties instead of us

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

In terms of Benjamin, there's nary been a lazier WR (or player) ... he's Dwayne Bowe before Dwayne Bowe got old

Rice was waived by the Browns on Wednesday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Rice had played only 37 defensive snaps across eight games this season, mostly serving as a special teams player. The Browns claimed cornerback Phillip Gaines and safety Jermaine Whitehead off waivers to prompt his departure from the team.
