Man, some of these RBs today!!! I look at guys like Henry and Fournette and I am just amazed.
I was a pretty decent back, but these dudes would dwarf me and are probably just as fast. It's amazing.

This officiating is just obscenely bad.
Aikman ignoring every bad call is super annoying.
Kessler will never convert 3rd and long.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

I want Tennessee to win, but man, what a BS holding call on Flowers. And then Mike P comes on and says the league wants more holding calls. Troy Aikman rightfully compares it to wanting more speeding tickets at certain times of the month and how he doesn't like this. I totally agree. That's BS!

Jacksonville really stinks now. That was a drastic and immediate dropoff for them.

that run .. and game ... by Henry was incredible
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Let me rephrase it.
Does anyone know why they rarely call a face mask penalty on RBs? ANGLE or FOCUS ... U prolly know this ... or at least the likeleyhood is greater than most of the rest of the board as you may have had this explained to u before ... although during a game theres not a shot inheck i’m Giving this explanation to a coach ... not a shot in heck .. not even if it was one of my good buds ... *L* ... in that moment .. not the way to go ... u gotta trust me on that one .. *L* ... Anyhow ... on a lot of tackles there may only be one pair of eyes on the actual tackle ... two frequently and every once in awhile three will have eyes on it ... The first problem is being “straight lined” is the technical officating term ... *LOL* .... its true ... no idea why i think thats funny .. u can’t see through someone .. and many times the way the play unfolds and when its contact time u may have NO ANGLE and simply can’t see it ... Obviously the more eyes u have on a play the better shot u have of having a better angle ... Each official has there own calling area ... like the back judge ... NO ONE is suppose to get behind him ... PERIOD ... so he always responsible for the dudes the furthest down the field on a play .. and u NEVER EVER EVER take your eyes off your calling area unless there’s a play on the sidelines and guys go out of bounds ... that and fights are the only two exceptions ... PERIOD .... If u MAKE a call outside your calling area your going to take a major ding ... MAJOR .. cause it means u went “out of your area” witch means u didnt have the best look (unless angle dictates u did ... thats not gonna bail u out on that one) AND no one has eyes on your area ... thats not good on any level ... dont miss a call out of your area ... your post season is DONE right them and there ... 2nd is FOCUS ... wish I could explain things as good as u and some others ... this is gonna be way to wordy .. *L* ... sorry bout that ... Hmmmm ... lets try this ... when u see a flag and the announcer says face mask and doesnt say on who ... your eyes go right to the runners mask ... then u dont see it so u go look at the defenders mask area .... most of the time when that happens I miss it cause it happens so fast ... Same concept as an official ... when u watch the contact as an official ... its the same concept as a block/charge in hoops ... when the dude starts driving .. a hoops official watches the defenders for their position and picks up the driver as his main focus almost when the collision happens ... he has all re3ady established the defenders legal surging position .... Sounds easy right ... *LOL* ... not so much ... it’s HARD as HECK ... its why so many are missed ... if u focus on the defender your odds of getting it right increase 50 fold ... on that play the DEFENDER IS THE KEY ... in football its not that rigid ... but its what happens ... same concept... The officials focus on the defender and what he’s doing to the runner not the other way around ... hence why offensive face masks are missed so frequently ... Thats another call the new rules have nothing to do with .... it has more to do with how your brain works and where your eyes “take u” ... Sometimes i’m Not very good at explaining things .. i hope this isn’t one of those times .. *L* .. hopefully U can understand it the way i mean it to be understood .... If u have any questions please ask ... Hopes that helps .. thanks for asking a question ... maybe for once i wont get ripped for shedding some light on something most on here have zero clue about and have no desire to be educated on ... they’d rather just act like drunken fans who only want someone to scream at as opposed to actually earn something from someone who has been there and done that ...

Remember all the arguments about how Cody Kessler was better than Wentz? LOL Not really. I don't remember anyone suggesting Kessler was better than Wentz??? Was fun to watch such a dominant run game last night. I think that's more a reflection on Mariota than anything else - I thought Mariota was going to be so much better than he is when he came out of college.

Jags have quit on their coach and one another. I don't think I have ever seen an NFL defense with less interest in tackling the ball carrier. Those "professionals" should be embarrassed. National game, and they looked afraid of contact.
How does a league celebrating its 100th season only recognize the 53 most recent championships?

The jags defense definitely quit and there’s no excuse for that.
But maybe the front office should’ve did their jobs and got a QB worth a damn. They decided to roll with bortles KNOWING that not one player believed in him.

Kessler is just no threat down the field. Just like here. They'll be drafting a QB

In my fantasy league Derrick Henry put up 52 points Thursday night. In ESPN leagues he's 57% owned with 15% of those owners starting him. In other words, 42% of ESPN fantasy football owners were punching themselves in the face Friday morning.

I like Cody but let's face it, he always had backup written all over him from when he was drafted. I don't know what Hue saw in him.

Yeah, I actually think Kessler will be in the league a long time

Cody is a lot like Colt McCoy. He's a smart kid, he has some ability, (accuracy in the case of Kessler) but his limitations will allow him to progress no further, realistically, than being a good backup.

agreed. i wouldn't mind him as our backup to be honest. by all accounts he's smart, a good dude, etc.

I love pulling for our old guys. Players who are good dudes that just didn't work here. But I wouldn't want either McCoy or Kessler as my backup. Job requisite #1 for backup QB...hope you don't start many games but win the games you do start.
