"Jamie Collins Sr. leads the Cleveland Browns with 79 tackles"
I read this from above and was stunned.. When did he get all these tackles.. In the first couple games ? Seems he just stands around most of the time..
Actually he has been more active in the recent games.
Yeah, don't believe the hate hype train people are trying to push.
Not hating on Collins - but his effort has been M.I.A several times. His play is not consistent and he does not often play up to the level of his talent. When you see the guy on the field he is fast, agile and big ... physically he has everything you want, and he can bring it when he is motivated. He just does not bring it often enough. . . . I doubt - in fact I am sure - he won't be on the team next year.
The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

hes making tackles, 7 yards down field. I bet has just as many misses.
and if he didn't make those tackles ?? Who would
the safety behind him?
The point is, tripping a rb 7 yards downfield is not making play. You can pay a undrafted rookie to do thzt, no probowl money. Hes being paid to make big time plays and change a game. hes not doing that on a consistent enough basis. JMO
It's starting to look that way for a team that has lost four consecutive games as well as its star tight end and two assistant coaches/scapegoats. That's why all three of our panelists are behind the Cleveland Browns as 1.5-point underdogs.
"A clean sweep in the Browns favor is intriguing," Sobleski said. "It certainly isn't a result of the spread since Cleveland has only a 1.5-point advantage for a home game. However, these teams are heading in opposite directions. The Panthers have lost four in a row, which caused head coach Ron Rivera to shake up the staff this week. The Browns are coming off a loss as well, but they performed well in the second half against the Texans, and quarterback Baker Mayfield appeared to have learned a lesson after throwing three first-half interceptions."
Mayfield was on a roll before running into Mt. Texan early in Week 13. But after tossing three first-half picks, the rookie No. 1 overall selection completed all but six of his 31 second-half passes for 351 yards along with a 124.6 passer rating.
He's now back at home against a team that is 1-5 on the road and a defense that has surrendered 30.8 points per game since the start of November.
Neither team is trustworthy, but you'd think the Browns would at least be giving up points in this spot.

Agreed...only reason Collins is leading the team in tackles, is because of injuries to Schobert and Kirksey...
Collins reacts slow, plays slow...gives questionable angles and effort...Despite being our biggest LB, is not a thumper nor is willing to take on blockers...Collins is also that guy whom will let a guy get a 1st down right in front of him...He will not lay the wood nor sacrifice his body for the play...I've seen him far too many times just hesitate or quit on the attempt.

With Collin's price tag, i'm sure he won't be on the team next year.
He's due something like 12 million dollars. And we can cut him with a loss of only like 2.5 million. He's not an 9.5 million a year player.
Nope, he'll be gone. I expect us to draft a LB or two
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Yeah, he's gone. I expect Dorsey will fill his spot with a FA or trade (if possible), and also draft a guy.

If the Browns win, and the Steelers and Ravens lose, then the Browns AFC North title and playoff berth as division winner hopes, will be alive, mathematically, on to next week!
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Us playin at home where we play our best ball...........etc, etc.
They, in 4 game freefall and on the road in a cold, wet..........etc, etc.
There is actually a way that the Steelers can win the division at 7-8-1 and we get the wild card at 7-8-1.
