Way to close out the first half, Russ.

That looked very 'Browns'(1999-2017.5) to me.

on a brighter note, ya know who didn't exude suckitude?

Baker.
Baker Mayfield.

He once saw what suckitude looked like, and said: "I want to be the opposite of that."

Baker was not suck.
Not even a little.

What a run by Wilson. Man this dude just makes the plays when it’s needed most.

Well you know who isn’t clutch? Kirk cousins.

I love it when a theme comes back around for a new treatment. The best composers use that technique all the time.

Was it just me, or was this an annoying game to watch? SEA had me mumbling beneath my breath the whole time. I really thought they might lose until that goal line stand. And even then, I wasn't convinced.

Game was uglier than a mud fence.

Yea this definitely was an ugly game.

I’m highly disappointed in the Vikings though. They were suppose to take the next step by signing Kirk cousins.

Looks like they might’ve been better off keeping Keenum.

Two very good defenses. I wouldn't sleep on Seattle in the playoffs. They are a team on the ascend. Teams who finish strong at the end of the regular season tend to do well in the playoffs.

I am not a fan of Cousins, but the Vike's OL is really bad. Look at our team and our qb getting all day to throw and then look at them and you see instant pressure. That's tough on a qb.

I agree, but signing a QB like cousins forces you to change how you play offense.

I mean you have Murray and cook as RBs. They should’ve got the ball way more, and cook had 4 yards a carry this game. They would’ve ran it more with Keenum.

True.

One thing to consider. They have Flip as their OC. Remember when he was here after replacing Shanny? Dude is pass happy. GM loved the dude. I did not. I remember him saying that if we don't gain positive yards on the first 2-3 carries, he would abandon the run.

I know he is pissing Zimmer off. LOL

Yea for sure lol. Zimmer loves old school football, like what the Seahawks play.

But still, that o line got bullied. Cousins stats as far as completion % is great, but once again he’s looking like a stat guy.

His numbers are about to look like his 2017 redskin season, with the lack of wins to match. Hate to say it cause I was hoping we make a run at cousins, but it looks like what people were saying about him is true.

Lol yea. They cut to the angles all the wrong times.

Last week I saw somebody digging for gold on the sidelines.

In the first half Minni was dominated up front on both sides of the ball ... Zimm more than likely ripped his D a new butt nd made some adjustment so they only got dominated on one side of the ball in the 2nd half ...

They’ve had a lot of injuries along the OL .. there pretty bad right now ...

Seattle’s not the D u wanna go against with a weak OL .. there gonna make u pay and they pressured the heck out of Cousins all night and gave Cooks no where to run ...

Zimm and DeFelippo dont get along at all .. rthe announcers said u could feel the tension between them ... not a good situation ...

The seasons not gonna end well for Minni ... if Zimm get fired ... i’d Hire him the next day ... that dude knows D... hes a GREAT DC ...

The NFC is strange ... ever week I think someone looks better/worse

I keep thinking Chicago will subside, but they don't

I keep thinking Philly, Minny and GB will show up ... but they don't

Bill Belichick on OMF following loss to Dolphins: 'It’s the National Football League. Nobody died'

Sunday was one of the most shocking losses in the Bill Belichick era when it comes to thinking the game is over one second, and then losing the next.

Miami scored a 69-yard touchdown on several laterals with seven seconds left to stun the Patriots.

This could potentially derail a team, so on Ordway, Merloni & Fauria Monday, Belichick was asked what his message to the team was after the game.

“Look, it’s the National Football League. Nobody died," he said. "Got a big game this week against Pittsburgh. We have a two-game lead in the division. There’s a lot of football left in the season. We’ll see how it goes.”

The game against the Steelers doesn't mean as much as it could have with them losing to the Raiders Sunday, which was their third straight loss. The Patriots are now 9-4, while the Steelers are 7-5-1.

It appears like it will come down to the Patriots and Texans for the No. 2 overall seed, but still, Sunday's meeting in Pittsburgh is still a big one.

“They hit the quarterback a lot," Belichick said. "I think they are right at the top of the league in sacks. They have gotten a lot of pressure from their front. Very explosive offensively. We’ve seen that. [James] Conner has had a great year for them. Not sure what exactly his status is, but I am sure anybody and everybody that can be ready to go in this game will be there — both teams. We’ll see how it goes, but certainly we have a lot of respect for Pittsburgh and they are strong in every area of the game. We’ll need to play well. Last year’s game came down to, same thing, final play. I am sure it will be tough out there like it always is.”

The Patriots have won five straight games over the Steelers and 12 out of the last 15.

I believe Belichick loves beating the Steelers. I think Bill will have his team ready to play. Go Pats!

Well, the Vikes are currently a playoff team and their past two losses were both on the road to two playoff teams (Pats and Seachickens - two teams that are quite good in their own houses).

I think the Vikes have the Miami (home), Detroit (road) and Chicago (home). I like their chances with the Phins at home and the Lions and on the road. The Bears D could beat them up in week 17, but the division will already be cliched at that point so maybe the Bears will be resting starters, soooooo...the Vikes might be okay.

Meaning, they'll probably be in the playoffs, which is what they brought Cousins in to do (yeah, win a Super Bowl, but step 1 is playoffs and then who knows). Nobody can sign one player in the offseason and get "win the SB or else" pressure. There are too many games, players, variables and fluky plays to guarantee that kind of benchmark. Maybe for the GS Warriors, not an NFL team.

Imagine the Vikings.

This team before the season start was supposed to be a Super Bowl team. Cousins was supposed to be the missing link. They go out and spend big for Cousins.

They were supposed to have all the pieces for a run.

They are 6-6-1. We are 5-7-1 from a team that did not win a game. Then forced to start a rookie QB. Then fires the head coach and OC.

Which team looks more promising today?

Last night was not Cousins fault ... the night before was not Goff’s fault ... my boy Mitch .. it was HIS FAULT ... all 3 played like crap ... IMO only one of the was culpable ...

Goff was under siege all night as has Cousins been ALL YEAR ...

I did not want Cousins ... but to blame him for whats going on in Minni is WRONG ... there OL was weak and they’ve had 2 or 3 starters out all year ....

Not sure why u put everything on the QB ... i expect that from the dolts ... not u ...

It’s not all on him, but I still expect a lot more from a fully guaranteed QB.

They changed the offense because they signed cousins. Under keenum they ran the ball a lot and killed the play action game. But now with cousins, it’s like you’re expected to pass because you paid this guy 80 mill to do exactly that.

Now they have Murray and cook rotting on the bench. I truly believe they’d have more wins with keenum right now.

Thats exactly true...For the most it is easier for Oline to run block vs pass block...Their Oline is amongst the worst...But somehow they don't use a bellcow in Murray and a healthy Cook to threaten teams...They hope Cousins can sail a great game with 50 pass attempts.
