Not me bro ... that’d just be silly ...

Let it play out .... were gonna lose Kitchens to a HC position IF we dont make him HC .... watch and see ... thumbsup

LOVE what there doing .. but we’ve played 2 teams over 500 i believe and got our butts handed to us in both of them .. they were both over before the half ... KC didnt even make it to the 2nd Q ... thats not a shot at them .. not at all ..

It is however a REALITY of the situation ... thumbsup

What did Hue say about Baker on that show?

“When you really stop to look at it, it’s truly, really about Baker Mayfield. I think they want to do everything they can to put him in a situation (to succeed). You’ve got the first pick of the draft, who I think is going to be a franchise quarterback, who is going to be a sensational player, and he’s not playing as well. Again, here is a perfect storm to move forward and move on, and I have to respect the decision that they made.” wkyc

I'm not defending Hue, but that doesn't sound like a diss.

I listened to it live....I took it as Hue saying that Baker wasn't playing well and using that as part of the reason he was fired.

At least we can go into the off-season with some optimism. Real optimism that is. Even last year when we added all that talent, you don't really know how players are actually going to perform and how well they will jell together.

We've seen the Browns win 5 out of 7 games here. This with a young team and a changeup of the coaching staff. We know they can do it. Now add in some more good players, a little more time and experience, and who knows what they can accomplish.

Yes. I don't like the dude. He pulled another punk-ass move today in my opinion.

However, I am a Brown's fan and the team is playing better. He is playing pretty good. I don't think he is as good as some people say, but he makes plays when we need them. The team is now winning. He's a good player. I just don't like the person that he is.

So yeah, it's conflicting emotions.

- One of my concerns with Baker was that in college he didn’t have to throw in small windows. His receivers were wide open. Along with others, I said we did not know if he could do it because he didn’t need to. Some took it as us saying he couldn’t, we were just saying no one knew. Well, it seems he can. A couple times today guys were not open but he still got the ball there. So, Baker. He can throw. I am impressed.

- I think if Garrett or Ogbah hits Ben out of bounds the way Dunlop hit Bake, there would be a flag. Nice to see the guys over there in a heartbeat to show their disapproval. I thought Higgins was going to switch from Hollywood to Compton.

- Perriman and Njoku continue to impress me. Chief has been fighting a thigh injury but that nice run after the catch forced the two minute warning to 1:45 or so, and allowed us to go straight to the victory formation.

- Swept a divisional foe. Winning divisional record locked up.

- We tend to have a lackluster defensive drive, an uninspired offensive series and a big special teams gaffe. We strung all 3 together and let them get to within 8. Peppers is playing well but that blocked punt was on him.

- I am on record early saying I don’t like this kicker. Still don’t.

- At .500 late in the year.

- Williams has 5 wins as an interim coach. In 7 games. 5 wins. For the Browns. 5.

Hue is a self promoting tool. Baker has as an attitude that will turn some people off towards him. Let’s leave it at that and move on. We have a young, exciting team.

We should, at the very least, bring in a veteran to compete with the kicker we have.

I'm hoping Joseph has the job under control, but I wouldn't mind bringing in a vet either

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Next time we play at Cincy, can we give baker a browns flag to plant at the 50 yard line after a win?

By the time next season starts people will be foaming at the mouth.

Our fan base of course will be nuts.

But in addition the media will be all over us. Everybody loves this kind of story.

We will be a feature product.

Bro, playing w/an edge is great. I did it for years. I would hit you in practice and I would kill you in games. But, when the game was over..........it's over.

I don't like how Jalen Ramsey has been disrespecting opponents. I don't like how Baker disrespects an elder. I think we saw some Cinci players getting on Baker because of his mouth today.

Baker won today. We'll see how well his arrogant 'tude plays in the future. It might play out great and the Browns will win multiple 'chips. Then again, it might result into some headhunting tactics as he exhibits more and more of his cocky and arrogant behavior.

I do get that many posters on this board love his behavior and I am not trying to change their minds. As a former player and coach, I do not approve of his actions and I know that if I had a chance, I would put the hurt on him if I was an opposing player.

See of the best QBs in history was some class A jerks.
Marino was a jerk.
Fouts was a horrible jerk
Just off the top of my head. As they get older they usually learn how to contain it better.
I think you a little bias toward Hue Vers.
When you make plays when needed that defines you being good. Baker moves the ball while making great throws each game all the while still learning and makes plays when needed....comon Vers. You letting dislike for Baker and Love for Hue makes That statement was a little silly.
You better than that !

Meh

Like someone said, this is football not golf.

If you cant handle the heat get out of the kitchen.

Its not like Baker is gonna diss all of our competitor's coaches.

There is obvious bad blood there.

Also, it's not just Baker and Hue with the bad blood. Remember last time we played them and Randall handled Hue the ball?

Obvious bad blood with the team. Not just Baker.

So yeah, Baker aired his greviences. Not just for himself, but for the team.

Ya ... Bakes pretty mature ... 100% ...

- running from the cops
- planting a flag at OSU
- grabbing his crotch during a game to an entire sideline
- throwing the ball at the opposing team when there backs are turned ...
- staring down Hue like a 2 year old ...
- dissing Hue UNPROVOKED replying to some sports media dolts didnt like the way he treated Hue after the first game ...

Weather u think he had valid reasons to do it or not eachand everyone of those acts ALONE are no biggie .. when u add them up ...

If that dont = inmature ... u need to work on your math .. thumbsup

U don’t need to be INMATURE to have and edge ...

Bake don’t talk trash ... what he did was emberass the coach of an opposing team ... NOT SMART ...

It might make some that still hate hue for some reason feel better ... it did NO OTHER GOOD THAN THAT ...

I dont like it and think its CLASSLESS ... but i could really care less ... for me ... once i decided to root for a team owned by this POC we have, i decided i best not say a word about character anymore ...

To each there own ... i’m just glad were not debating the merits of someone that played like ... well any QB since our return ... *L* ..

Keep crying snowflake tears about Baker.

He is the literal ONLY REASON we have anything to celebrate this year.

So put a pacifier in yer yap.

I support Baker 100% in his badass self. It is who he is.

If you dont like it, feel free to leave.

No Baker fans are gonna apologize or try to apease crybabies.

Oh Hey, I hear Hue Jackson and his Bungles need some fans. Maybe you should go join up.

Baker is not immature. Everything he does is calculated.

Yeah maybe it's something personal between him and Hue but everything he does he does with a purpose. He is trying to galvanize the team. He is trying to change the culture.

If you look at everything so myopically and in a vacuum, I can understand why someone thinks he is immature.

This is all a part of the persona he needs to create to be an effective leader.
