To the joy of Vikings fans, however, they will look elsewhere. Ouch!

Looks like Arians might get the Bucs job

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

What does Hue have to do w/comparing GMs? Easy question. Both GM's were good. Neither could win with Hue.

Sashi was not good.
Actually he was atrocious.
The teardown was completely unnecessary. Some my say it worked out and everything went according to plan but he still left too much to chance. If last year's QB class was like the one coming out this year, we'd be up the creek without a paddle.
You simply cannot pass on Wentz (and to add salt to the wound, draft Coleman), Mahomes, and Deshaun. You simply can't.
I'm like everyone else who is happy we have Baker. He may end up being the best of this recent influx of young QBs over the next 5 years. But what Sashi did and forced the fans to endure was totally unnecessary. That's my biggest gripe. Having Hue did not help. I'm sure his opinions, in hindsight, only made matters worse. But Sashi was not good. Far from it. He was bad, very bad.

If last year's QB class was like the one coming out this year, we'd be up the creek without a paddle. Honestly. All this I'm not worried about anymore. I'm looking forwards. We've got Baker Mayfield. He is the chosen one. With him, I have faith that we'll be at the top of the league for a long time. Just watching football today; I was sitting there during all these games and thinking, Baker has more talent than any of these guys. Philip Rivers can really read a defense. But, pure QB talent, Baker shreds all these fools. He's got the arm. And I think he's got the smarts. He's shifty and scrappy. And he's a true competitor. In Baker, I trust. He is the chosen one. Everything is worth it to have him. God bless the Baker Mayfield

Castor oil is horrible stuff, and leads to a very unpleasant experience, but sometimes a good dose of it is just exactly what was needed and is the very best thing for you.
Doesn't make you like it any.

Watching the games yesterday and I was left with the impression that I don't fear any of those teams.
Seattle. I thought they would beat the Cowboys. I have no clue why they refused to pass the ball down the field. They made their offense one dimensional.
Ravens. I did figure that the Chargers would win. They figured out the Ravens. I don't see the Ravens succeeding with that offense.
Houston. I respect Deshaun as a leader and player. But as a pure passer he is inconsistent.
Bears. Good defensive team. Trubisky is coming along but not there yet.
Eagles. They are resilient. But they are not a great team.
Colts. They have come a long way in a short time. Are playing good ball. I believe Luck to be one of the top qb's in the league. They are pretty good. But we can compete with them.
Chargers. They beat us pretty soundly. Baker had a rough game. But they don't look overwhelming in any phase.
Cowboys. As much as I hate admit it they are a good team. Dak is a solid qb. Zeke is a great back. They have Cooper. Love the Vander Esch guy. They would tough to handle for us right now.

It can be easy to be overly optimistic...I am optimistic about our future but I don't believe we are ready to compete with the top handful of teams. I do believe we are really close if not all the way there on offence and I wouldn't be bothered if we didn't add another offensive piece this offseason but I'm pretty sure we will... We are not ready to compete because of our defence. We got shredded by Houston, Chargers and Balt almost put up 300 yds rushing and look at what Conner did against us in the two games we played them. I'm not convinced the north runs through us next year at all...When I see that we can stop the run when we absolutely have to and be able to beat the Steelers just one freakin time I'll jump on board with a one way ticket. We need Lb's and Dl people... I cringe when I hear people clamoring for receivers...

McCarthy turned down the Jets supposedly no surprise, he probably wants too much control, that will be a problem here as well.

I tend to agree with you as it pertains to where we stand "today".
But at the same time, we have a FA signing period and another draft ahead of us before the 2019 season starts. When looking at the transformation we made during last years off season, I'm not ready to say if the AFC North runs through us next year or not. Things changed for our Browns a lot in one off season. I'll have to wait to see how this roster looks before the beginning of next season before I can say one way or the other.
I think we'll once again look like a much different team going into the 2019 season.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

If this turns out to be true, it could make Tampa a landing spot for Kitchens if he's not retained here.

Maybe he was interested in more jobs than he said he was.

If Jameis isn’t successful, I could see Arians being one and done. If Jameis isn’t the guy for Tampa Bay, then they will need a full rebuild. Arians isn’t the guy for that.

He certainly wasn't on Dorsey's list to interview. The way Dorsey keeps things to himself, we'll probably never know why he didn't want to interview him.

First guess: He's 67 years old and has had health issues in the past. The Bucs, and their GM, are desperate to be good now. If they aren't, then everyone is fired. They don't care about the long term at all.
