Good call on the Panthers. I thought the Raiders were next but the Panthers make sense too. I'm not aware of their cap space, however.

With the 49ers not bringing back Garcon, I could see SF being a place for AB to end up. Shanny can get a receiver a lot of touches.

I don't care for the Steelers, but I think AB is going to find out the grass is always greener. No clue on the Panthers cap situation, but I'm sure there's a way to make it work. I don't think the Panthers have been the same since Steve Smith left. I see they will have Torrey Smith for this upcoming year, but I'd rather have AB or OBJ. AB probably not in play, but if I'm the Panthers I'm talking to Pittsburgh. Torrey Smith

The Panthers have DJ Moore and Curtis Samuel. Both players are very good and Curtis, at one point, had the highest touchdown to touch ratio in the league. They're just chronically inept.

Although they're both "small," I think the Panthers still need a receiver on the outside. Moore is more of a slot receiver. I like Samuel over Wright, but I don't know that either are great... And I'm not a Torrey Smith fan. So they're probably fine... I just think it would help...
Looking things over now, the other team that sticks out to me is the Jets.

Torrey Smith? For serious?
I like DJ Moore over all of those Panthers WRs and they might be losing Funchess who has been a failed experiment.

For me, the FA period should be about:
1. Extending Damarious Randall 2. Extending Rashard Higgins 3. Extending Joe Schobert
Signing a good player or two in FA, hopefully at a young age. Depth signings are never a bad thing, either.
Draft well.

Can we tender Randall and Joe next year like were doing with Higgins this year or is that not going to be an option for either or both?

I see $9M is fully guaranteed to Randall in 2019. Restricted FA status I did not see.

It went from $1M in base salary in 2018 to $9M in 2019.

Team option on first round picks. That 5th year is when they start to make Bank. To be a RFA you cannot exceed three accrued seasons in the NFL. I forget when Schoebert was drafted.

re-sign Randall, re-sign Higgins, sign Mosley, draft a DT, and target one more FA impact guy on O
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Just remember...me who has a bad rep for WR and mistakenly presented as a Dinosaur or someone who has a Thing against WR.
Had talked up about OBJ coming here a while ago. Its just the ridiculous thought about 2 first rounders and stuff of that nature for a guy who doesn't want to be with the Giants and will not make it pleasant for the FO there. The asking price is way too much.
But I have nothing against GREAT WRs coming here OBJ is one that I have said that I would want to have here! Kitchen's is all about creating SPACE and that kid in space is amazing.

The Steelers debacle is setting the stage for the giants to get rid of obj before he kills his value.

Whats the difference between Higgins and those two?
Why could we tender higgins this year but neither of those two?

Why could we tender higgins this year but neither of those two? Higgins is a restricted free agent because he didn't play enough games to accrue unrestricted free agency.

Don't have a the time or any links but the Jaguars are cutting players today that will be sought out in free agency. Most likely not us though. Who knows?

Here u go .... so far today and its only 1:00 .... they released there long snapper to clear cap space ... never heard of that ... *L* ... CARSON TINKER LB, UNSIGNED FREE AGENT Jaguars released LS Carson Tinker. Tinker was let go along with DT Malik Jackson, S Tashaun Gipson, RT Jermey Parnell, and RB Carlos Hyde. as the Jaguars look to create cap space for a quarterback, likely Nick Foles. Tinker had snapped the snaps which travel a longer distance than traditional snaps in Jacksonville since 2013. RELATED: Jacksonville Jaguars Mar 8, 2019, 1:10 PM

Now that Corbett has been elevated to the starting RG (at least for now) we are going to need a backup C/OG, any free agents out there that any of you might think we would be interested in?

Now that we traded Zeitler to the Giants, can we bring back Grecco as depth? I can't imagine he'll fetch a hefty contract and maybe not even a starting job at this stage in his career. That said, the best linemen are glue guys. The line is all about cohesiveness as a unit and Grecco provides just that.

No clue about the FA’s ... we could go that route or draft one with our multiple 3rds or 4th’s or if the right guy is there maybe even our 2nd ...
We just shored up a pretty big need aquiring Vernon ... there is some risk involved ... but it was well worth it IMO ...

I'm pretty sure every NFL WR, "WANTS to be" the highest paid WR in the NFL.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
