I would feel better if it were Crennel saying this, not Phil. Phil is the GM, not the Head coach. He gets guys, Crennel gets guys to play. This whole day for them really has me asking who is in charge ...

Draftdayz: Don't you know by now that RAC doesn't give definitive statements. All he would say is "The best guy will play." Or "Whoever gives us the best chance to win will be on the field." In fact, I bet this wasn't even his decision to trade Frye. I bet this came from the FO all the way. RAC is becoming more and more powerless with each passing day. But that's JMHO.

its hard to tell who's really the coach around here. maybe it IS PS.
i remember when Kitna was in seattle, holmgren watered down the playbook for him in the first half of the season, and the kid did really well. if PS forces crennel to play quinn tomorrow or whenever, we will try to run a lot and simplify things to the point where he's comfortable executing.
looking at the ARI/SF game last night, those two teams are right about where the browns should expect to be this time next year. too bad we didn't get nolan.

After Sunday? DA isn't the only one in this organisation "keeping the seat warm".
RAC "gets guys to play"? When, where?
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Were you there to know that PS and RAC did not talk before the presser and RAC stated his feelings to Phil?
Instead of having two of the up there, RAC was hopefully off getting the team ready for Sunday. I too believe that the decision on the depth chart and who plays on Sunday is RAC's alone, but we have no idea that they did not discuss this before the presser.
Let's not condemn the FO and staff for not being in control of things when we have no idea if they are.
Signing Steinbach - $49.5 million Signing Lewis - $5 million Drafting Joe Thomas and Brady Quinn - millions more Restoring the Browns to champions - priceless.
