I just always thought it was strange how they surrounded LeBron with head cases and non-shooters. They fell apart down the stretch even with LeBron playing at a high level.

The Warriors kind of broke the NBA when they signed Durant. They've lost Curry in the playoffs before and have been fine. No Durant, just ripped off 4 in a row deep in the Western Conference playoffs.

How many teams in the past could lose a superstar and still be the best team in the league?

Not to mention...look at the Warriors record with Curry and no KD. I think it is like 32-1 (maybe 31-1). Warriors sat back and let Meyers Leonard have the best night of his life because they knew he couldn't drain 50 and even if he did...who cares. They had Lillard and McCollum under control. Bummer for the Blazers, but to be honest...if somebody said at the start of the season Portland would make it to the WCF I don't think many would have believed it. They outperformed and overachieved all expectations. Terry Stotts may well be in the running for coach of the year.

I hope at least some of you guys are watchin' the basketball game tonight, it's pretty good! Most of the last few games have been decent, 'cept for the Warriors series. (Bulldoze.)

I'm not much of an NBA fan, but congratulations to the Raptors, getting to the Finals. Basketball was invented by a Canadian, We The North and see ya, Milwaukee.

I'm kind of happy to see Toronto in the Finals. They're sort of a hard luck franchise similar to Cleveland teams. Outside of Drake, I'd say they're pretty good fans. It must of been hard all these years to have one of the best teams in the league, only to run into Lebron deep in the playoffs and get knocked out every time. They're probably sending fruit baskets to the Lakers as we speak. Nice to see them finally get over the hump.

That said, Golden State is probably going to destroy them, with or without Durant.

Smells like a sweep coming up.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

GS in 5. I think Toronto wins game 3.

I hate the warriors, but I wouldn't have a problem if Curry pulled a Reggie Miller on Drake.

I think the odds for KL staying in Toronto just went up exponentially

Durant will still be out for the start of the finals. Does it seem like the injury is more serious than the Warriors are letting on?

Not sure it matters. They appear to be a “better team” without him. As others have said, they are more talented with him, but the offense flows better with him on the bench.

I know I’m biased in this statement, because I’m a Cavs fan, but it would have been cool to see the NBA the past three years had KD stayed in OKC (or went anywhere else but GS). I’m not an asterisk guy, but KD did “break the league” by joining the Warriors.

Lol, I'm glad for the Raptors but Drake needs to stop thinking he's on the team. He's a jock-sniffer.

since TOR has home court, they'd have to win 1 or 2 to make it go 5

Lol. Not sure what you're trying to say, but if they win 1 or 2, it will go 5 or 6 whether there at home or not.

No, I meant that TOR is the one with the home court advantage ... and it's a 2-2-1-1-1 series (not a 2-3-2 format like it used to be) As a result, GSW winning in 5 games is less likely IMO

I will make the assumption that you're talking about the team, not the city. But if you meant the city, you are sadly mistaken...

With the massive turnout of fans in the streets during the game, I'd say yes. There was no need for the personal comment, Eve and I'll refrain from replying in a like manner...

It is kind of funny how much of a pass he get with the national media.

Lebron took all sorts of crap for joining the Heat, and I get it, one of the most tired sports takes is the "it's not that he left, it's how he left" (which is total BS, by the way)

Lebron went and created something in Miami. The Heat were a middling team before that, long removed from the 2006 title. They built something new.

KD went to a team fresh off a 73 win year, and 1 year removed from a title. It's bit of a cop out if you ask me. Yes, he had every right to go there, but it has to absolutely eat him alive (knowing how much he cares about this stuff) that they seem to be just fine without him)

It really makes that 2016 title that much sweeter. I love how bitter Warrior fans are too. Somehow the league was fixed because their 3rd best player sat out 1 game in the middle of the series for racking up that last technical before a suspension. Something he was very aware about going into game 4. I keep saying it, but they are the most delusional fans in the world. They kind of remind of steeler fans from 2006-2010 and how the league just revolved around him. The NFL only started in the 70's, just like the NBA began in 2015.

I hope Toronto kicks the crap out of them. They deserve it. Toronto fans are so passionate about that team. I hope they can win 4 out of 7.

Anything to beat the spreadsheet boys and their spreadsheet fans.

I don't like Canada in our leagues. Stay in your lane.

Just like if the NFL expands into Europe, I'm going to be mad.

I don't want to get up at 6am just to watch the Browns play some Europe team.

I'm only ok with this in Soccer. Because there are apparently no lanes in Soccer. Everybody plays Everybody in way too many leagues.

A better team with 2 titles less, without DH Golden State wouldn't have won the last 2 titles. He is just the best most clutch player in the team.

Good win for Raps ... Siakam with the game of his life. Looks like this will at least be a deep series now. I'll still say GS in 6 games, but it's intriguing now!
