Connecticut has a WNBA franchise. (I would have to look up the name). The games/scores/standings are never mentioned on the local news. I'd have to look up what city and arena they play their home games in.
I have never heard anyone talk about Connecticut's WNBA team.
Or of Connecticut having a major league team (since the NHL Whalers left in the '90s)
The UCONN women's basketball is the only game in town when it comes to women's basketball.
