"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
I absolutely hate that song it's the most aggravating song I ever herd and Macs suck just as bad I can run circles around a mac with windows. I can find about 20 programs to your one on a mac.
I’m not about to get into a silly, who’s computer is better, debate with someone who herd an aggravating song.
You’ll have to excuse me now, I just heard the dinner bell at the round-up.

I think whoever put the Ram Jam song in (jfanent?), wins the prize. That song was huge nationally and internationally and to this day it still gets played, sampled or its riff is copied. Everything else on their 2 albums is bog standard, uninspired hard rock that failed to separate itself from all the other hard rock bands of the time. "Black Betty", however, now that's a tune and they will forever be remembered for it and it only.
This is the song I think of when I think of Blues Traveler.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.

Their drummer sang lead on one song, and their guitarist sang lead on the other.

Blues Traveler was a great band .. John Popper (sp) great on harmonica

By far my favorite one hit wonder - What I Like About You by The Romantics.
Hard Rockin' song! This song appeals to my musical tastes.
I know their lead guitarist, Mike, pretty well. He has lived in Portland for years now (he has a wonderful family!) and he still tours with the Romantics. They often play w/other late 70s/80s bands like Flock of Seagulls, Night Ranger, Cheap Trick, Survivor, Loverboy etc.

That is a true one hit wonder. I know a lot of people that had that album. I wonder how many could now name another song from the B side? I think In-A-Gadda....was the only song on the other side.

Nerd alert...I have the 45. The 45 was a radio edit as the song is so long. The B side was a track from their 1st album, 'Heavy'.
I have 3 of their albums, but you are def right that the extended title track and its hypnotic bass line w/heavy fuzz guitar is what they will forever be remembered for.
'Heavy', 'In A Gadda' & 'Ball'. I also just double checked and I technically have 4....the fourth being their 'Live' album. But, I don't think it was technically recorded live, I think they put a canned audience on studio tracks as many 60s live albums are. Probably a quick release to get out of a contract?
To be honest, they were not a brilliant band. The records are ok, but quite inconsistent. The 1st ('Heavy') is prob my favorite. But, I don't play them often.
I used to love that song as a kid! Forgot about that one

Uh...Well...Ya...Of course...That goes without saying.
No album collection is complete without IRON BUTTERFLY Live!
Come on. You can never have too much In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida
I wanna buy it on either a 24 hour continuous loop or simply on a non-stop continuous loop permanently plugged into a wall outlet and playing in the background of my daily life.
