Wahoo! What a win last night.

Civale pitching well but bad luck. He's given up 2 runs on 4 singles in the 1st. 3 of those singles barely made it to the outfield

Tough one ... great game though

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Good feeling today: Judge and Sanchez are out for NYY

They are playing with a pretty undesirable lineup ... I guess they can afford it at this point in the year to rest guys, but Tribe must take advantage

We leave so many runs on base. It’s going to be what keeps us from making any noise should we get into playoffs

Seems like everytime I see a game when hands goes in he looks like a turd.
8-2, no pressure and he melts down.

Well, the Tribe did it.

They just finished a tough 20 games in 20 days. All against teams with winning records. (The Angels and Rangers don’t have winning records anymore thanks in large part to the Indians.)

12-8 (60%)(that comes to 97 wins over a season)

It was a helluva ride. In the middle of the summer.

Tomorrow, first scheduled day-off since July 29th.

If you're an Indians fan, time to catch your breath.

The Indians are doubted by baseball elites because they play the likes of Detroit and KC 19 times each per year, but no one ever comments on the Yankees owning the wretched Orioles to the tune of 17-2 on the season. In the meantime, Cleveland wins the season series with the unbeatable Yank-me's, 4-3, which just happens to be the best of 7, just like the post season. I continue to believe that the team to beat in the AL is Houston, not NY or Minnesota, and the only team that can even hope to match up with Houston - pitching wise - is us.

Tribe is just as good as the Yankees, Sox, Twins, A’s, etc .... i do think the Astros and Dodgers are above everyone though

BUT, Cleveland has the pitching to beat any of the above

I like what I’ve seen of late though ... If Santana and Ramirez stay hot and Puig’s addition ..

We have to beat the Twins going down the stretch. I think we have 3 and 3 series remaining.

I told you guys the Twins were going to be good a few years ago. The Twins AA team was in Chattanooga until last year. Now we are back with Cincy. They won the league going away. The Twins were stocked with top prospects now leading the way.

For you Reds fans, it isn't looking as good. The Lookouts aren't very good right now.

AA baseball is a great indicator of where a club is going.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

I don’t pay attention to the AA teams as much as i should; youre right, they are a great indicator of what’s to come.

I do know that Minnesota has a great farm system ... a pitcher from a local school was just traded to them and I was checking out their team

Carlos Carrasco will pitch an inning tonight for the Indian's AA affiliate in Akron. Francona said that if he can return this year, they think his best spot would be the bullpen, so this will be his first live action since the announcement that he was fighting leukemia. If you're interested, you can listen to the game here:

Kluber shut down for at least 2 weeks with an oblique strain (abdominal muscle). Aaron Judge missed half the season with this kind of injury, so its possible Kluber's season is over. I'm getting the feeling that its not in the cards for us to contend for the WS this year. Anything can happen, but a team can only sustain so many injuries and setbacks.

The Mets should have forfeited the entire three game series when that young man reached into the field of play and snagged that catchable foul ball.

Then the young man should have been summarily publicly executed and his rotting body left tied to a yardarm at the entrance to the stadium to discourage other young men from grabbing balls in play.

I would make a great dictator.

Stern but fair.

That's three consecutive blown saves for Brad Hand.

Hand's last five outings:
5 IP, 13 H, 7 ER, 5 BB (12.60 ERA, 1.242 opponent OPS)
