Cravens is the type of player that would fit well into a defense like ours. I just don't see a spot for him.

Ravens release Shane Ray Josh Alper,ProFootball Talk on NBC Sports The Ravens signed outside linebacker Shane Ray this offseason as they worked to put together their defense in the wake of the departures of Terrell Suggs and Za'Darius Smith, but the former Broncos first-round pick didn’t prove to be part of the solution. Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports that the Ravens have released Ray on Friday. Ray had 12 sacks in his first two NFL seasons, but dealt with injuries the last two years and only added two to the ledger in 29 games. Ray had two tackles and a half-sack in four preseason outings. Hensley also reports that the team has waived guard Patrick Vahe, guard Isaiah Williams and tackle Darrell Williams. Johnson spent four seasons with the team after being drafted in the fourth round of the 2014 draft and he returned to the team as a free agent this offseason. His stay ended on Friday when the team announced he was one of nine players released as they make their way to 53 players. Johnson started 16 games for the Niners in 2017, but only saw action in one game last year while bouncing between three teams. He had eight tackles and an interception in four preseason appearances. The 49ers also released offensive lineman Sam Young. Young signed with the team in mid-August after swing tackle Shon Coleman broke his leg, but wasn’t able to land a job. Was Elijah McGuire cut? I’d be surprised by that Yeah they let him go, I think he looked good at times last year...and I watched their preseason game last week, he was stout and quick to bust a nice run outside...I think he'll be a decent cheap pick up.

Definitely would be worth a look ... he’d excel with a team looking for a pass catching guy (KC, NE, etc)
