According to CBSsports.. Eagles released Qb Cody Kessler. rolleyes

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Saw Dolphins cut TE Dwayne Allen, he's always been noted as a strong veteran blocker...Though read he was injured in preseason, didnt watch him play.

Yeah they let him go, I think he looked good at times last year...and I watched their preseason game last week, he was stout and quick to bust a nice run outside...I think he'll be a decent cheap pick up.

Yeah Adams will be a good power back to back up Chubb...Though I know Adams is iffy at best in the passing game. But a cheap power option. I also like Stanley Morgan JR, reminds me somewhat of Higgins and Crabtree. But I know we will probably retain our own WRs

Not familiar with Adams but from the way you describe him, I wonder if he could be a guy we bring in as a FB. Though with the way Freddie has been talking about a TE playing FB I think he wants a guy with good hands.

I'd rather try Samaje Perine in that role.

Adams was red hot last year, and died down once the season went on...I am not sure of his blocking skills. though I know a few on the board really like him at ND, I however didn't see enough of him to really comment.

Giants waived QB Kyle Lauletta.
NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reports there is a "lot of backup QB intrigue" for Lauletta. The 2018 fourth-rounder will compete for a QB2 job elsewhere. Lauletta has more interceptions (1) than completions (0) so far.

The entirety of the Browns' 2017 QB room has been cut today:

DeShone Kizer
Cody Kessler
Kevin Hogan

Reminder: they went 0-16 that year. YIKES.

Apparently Brian Hoyer was let go too.

ESPN's Dianna Russini reports the Broncos are interested in working out free agent QB Brian Hoyer.

It makes perfect sense, as the Broncos have a massive need at their No. 2 quarterback spot after waiving Kevin Hogan. Second-rounder Drew Lock (thumb) will begin the year on injured reserve. Hoyer played for OC Rich Scangarello in San Francisco in 2017 when Scangarello served as Kyle Shanahan's quarterbacks coach. It does not appear Hoyer will be returning to New England once veteran salaries are no longer guaranteed.

Isn't this the guy the steelers traded with us to move up to get?

Broncos released S Shamarko Thomas.

The ex-Bill and Steeler appeared in six games for the Broncos last season. The 2013 fourth-rounder figures to stick around the NFL as a fringe reserve/special teamer.

I remember when we traded that pick to the Steelers, and some people were freaked out that we had given them the next Troy Polumalu, or something. rofl

Hyde and Duke Johnson reunited in Houston. I'm guessing this means no Shady McCoy.

Wow Taiwan Taylor ... hmm, we’ll get some insider news on the Titans smile

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Damn...I wouldnt have minded Rankins on our squad...He looked very good coming out of college, then again I know the Texans line is weak, so that says a lot.

I was one of those people, simply because I don't like intra-division deals like that. For me, it had nothing to do with thinking he'd the the next Polumalu but, rather, letting a division rival who you play twice a year, each year, move up for someone they like. To a greater extent, it was like our trade with the Ravens in 2006. Baltimore got Ngata, we get Wimbley and a 6th rounder.

I've always been against trades like that. We're 50% in that regard from those two. I don't like those odds.

Lol the good ole Jets...Yeah I strongly disliked Polite in any draft talks, so odd to have given up on someone 4 months after taking them in round 3...Must have been terrible.

I would jump all over C Stephen Wisnieski (sp?) he is perhaps the best back-up center in the NFL...surprising cut there.

Yeah prior to him getting injured I saw a few Broncos games...He barely gains any separation prior to his ACL tear...and his had a lot more drops than his usual.

I mentioned this somewhere on here, but I think Hoyer would be the perfect backup in Indy.
