Alright...who wants to take this guy into the alley and show him a thing or two..

Haha welcome to the board man, and I agree with your post...Though I'm not sure I would want him for more than a year or two. (his poor work habits scare me)

He's definitely not 5'11.

Welcome walker dawg!

Anyways, it seems crazy that we basically picked up a gunner ... it doesn’t seem like he’s much of a receiving threat, at least in the past

The point is it is hard to get ahead in the NFL if you are stuck on 6 wins year after year. We should know, we have been there long enough.

You just stay stuck at mediocre to bad.

Our first few drafts under Clark were bad and we were never able to recover. Seems like for every player gained, we lost a player.

We got to a point where we gained a lot of picks and John hit on most of them.

Things are looking up!

The guy we just picked up from the Jets waiver is going to our practice squad. Is there another pickup?

No, I meant with us trying to claim the RB from the Jags and add him to our 53

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I don't have to think about it. I can read. Maybe you should go back and read it again? I mean you do this all the time.

I keep reading like folks think the team can stash someone on the practice squad and that player is safe from going to another team, well it's not the case, if any other team wants your PS player all they have to do is make room on their 53 or active roster, there is no rights by your team to stop them.
So anyone on the PS is really just out there floating in waiver world until some team wants them, but they are practicing with you, but you don't really own their rights at all.

I wonder why they didn’t wait until after week 1

On Nate Ulrich’s podcast he said that the belief around the team is that Johnson has moved ahead of Hilliard on the depth chart.

Which could be the case ... so, I wonder if we were going to keep all 4 IF we had been awarded the RB from JAX

We weren't awarded the RB Ozigbo, Jacksonville was, the article just states that us and Detroit also put claims in for the guy.

That was not wrought forth in the final preseason game.

That is his opinion ...

Johnson barely played in the fourth preseason game and Hilliard played a ton. That's all we need to know.

I just assumed that it was because Hilliard had been nicked up and they wanted to get him a bit of work so he didn’t have too much time off. I hadn’t heard the info, so either way makes sense now

IMO, Hilliard will be the third down receiving back, and Johnson will be the guy to spell Chubb.

If we had done this before the game Sunday things would have been different!

TE and OL...still a hot mess..which is funny because both would help Baker and Chubb more than OBJ

I understand the churning of the roster always trying to find upgrades but am I the only that thinks some of this seems a bit much? Seems like a hard way to get continuity with members of a team when the players are always changing even lower tier players.

LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

I agree ... Fells was a good piece of our team. Dorsey wanted to keep Harris, but this was a mistake IMO

Who are we making room for or does he not count as a roster spot while on suspension?

j/c and not a Roster Move yet...but I'll be surprised if Mcray isn't the starting RT very soon. Hubbard made a colander look like the Hoover Dam last Sunday...THEN he got moved to LT.

Also, we may yet see Bitonio at LT is Robinson gets suspended.

I thought McCray was a guard who can play rt in a pinch?
