Can't let Iran get the bomb. This is our chance to introduce them to their 72 virgins.
Because Russia is going to sit idly by? Come on.
I don't think Russia would get involved.Maybe a stern reprimand. Kind of like when Obama let them take over the Crimea. Something like " Darn it Russia ,you guys are mean". I'm nott rying to be a smartass Eve buy we cannot let Iran get the bomb. They would love to set one off in NY,LA, Atlanta.

This has nothing to do with nukes. This has to do with middle eastern squabbles.

MOSCOW, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Russia on Monday urged countries in the Middle East and outside the region not to draw "hasty conclusions" on who staged the attacks on Saudi oil facilities.
A senior U.S. official said earlier that evidence from the attack, which hit the world's biggest oil-processing facility, indicated Iran was behind it, instead of the Yemeni Houthi group that had claimed responsibility.
U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday the United States was "locked and loaded" for a potential response to the attack on Saudi Arabia's oil facilities.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, asked about the U.S. statement, said: "We have a negative attitude towards rising tensions in the region and call for all countries in the region and outside of it to avoid any hasty steps or conclusions which may deepen destabilisation."
In a separate statement on Monday, Russia's foreign ministry said it believed that the exchange of strikes on civilian targets was "a direct consequence of the ongoing sharp military and political crisis in Yemen".
"We believe it is counterproductive to use what happened to increase tensions around Iran in line with the well-known U.S. policy," the foreign ministry said.
"Proposals on tough retaliatory actions, which appear to have been discussed in Washington are even more unacceptable." (Reporting by Maria Tsvetkova Writing by Katya Golubkova Editing by Toby Chopra and Angus MacSwan)
So you want to get into another Middle East war over an issue that doesn’t affect us, with the reasoning of a bomb they won’t use on us?
Man what? Dawg duty = dick Cheney
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
When is the rest of the middle east going to get with the program? You can do whatever you want, sponsor terrorism, oppress your population, murder journalist, as long as you sell us oil cheap, we don't care. It's when you keep the oil from us (Iran) that we got a problem.
Here's what ticks me off.. One day , less than 24 hours after the attacks, our gas prices jumped up 25 cents per gallon on average around here.
You'll never get me to understand how the gas that was put in the tanks of my local Shell station on Friday suddenly became more expensive virtually overnight...
As for Pompeo and his comments,, I don't know who's responsible.. I really don't. Maybe it's Iran, Iraq or the Saudies doing it so they can raise prices... I just don't know.
But I'm not ready to go to war to protect the Saudi oil fields.. I think it's idiotic to place american lives in the breach for them..... Considering how the helped the terrorists from 9/11.
We should be crushing them.... instead, Trumps in bed with them...
And his supporters just don't seem to care.

I am curious, would you want to imprison a person because "they might do something"?
No.
You don't bomb a country or start a war because you THINK they might be doing something. That didn't work out too well in Iraq, did it?
SMH.
No swish, not everyone wants to start a war over this. I am with you on this, this is their problem, they need to deal with out.
Omar: An administration 'that lies about weather maps' can't be trusted on Iran
Washington (CNN)Rep. Ilhan Omar on Monday dismissed President Donald Trump's ability to navigate escalating tensions with Iran, pointing to the controversy over Hurricane Dorian's path and whether it would hit Alabama.
"Congress has the constitutional right to declare war. The President doesn't have it. The secretary of state doesn't it have and Saudi Arabia certainly doesn't have it," Omar, a Minnesota Democrat, told CNN's Erin Burnett on "OutFront." "I think we need to make sure that the American people understand that this administration -- that lies about weather maps or crowd sizes -- cannot be trusted to give us the full information we need to be able to make a decision whether we should be going to war or not with Iran."
"We are not in a position to think about another endless war and I really hope that my colleagues in Congress are going to pressure this administration to take a step back and figure out how we use diplomacy in the de-escalating the situation," she added.
Omar's invocation of past Trump administration falsehoods comes after Trump told reporters Monday that "it's looking like" Iran was behind this weekend's attack on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia but suggested it was too early to say for sure. The freshman Democrat was specifically referencing Trump's multiple false claims that Hurricane Dorian was likely to hit Alabama and a controversy from just after his inauguration in 2017, when then-White House press secretary Sean Spicer said Trump's inauguration crowd was the largest ever in contradiction to all available data.
Trump said Monday he was "not looking to get into new conflict, but sometimes you have to."
On Sunday night, Trump tweeted that the US is "locked and loaded depending on verification" -- a refrain that Marc Short, the vice president's chief of staff, told reporters Monday morning may not refer to military action.
"I think that locked and loaded is a broad term and talks about the realities that we're all far safer and more secure domestically from energy independence," Short said.
As Trump gears up for a 2020 reelection battle, a notable lack of public trust in information coming from the White House -- such as the falsehoods Omar referenced -- continue to dog his administration.
A CNN/SSRS poll released last week shows that overall, 71% say they trust only some or nothing at all of what they hear from official White House communications, about the same as the 68% who felt that way in late 2017.
40 and other GOPers probably want to hear from the Squad on this, so here is their favorite Omar on the topic. For once I like her response. Looking forward to the comments.

It's because of the world market.
With proper export/tarriff laws and an amp up in our own production (which wouldn't be hard for us), our oil prices should never change
There's absolutely no reason we should be stuck priced into the world oil market.
And i know this, it's the industry i work in............
Where’s the Kush God been at? Isn’t he suppose to bring peace to the Middle East?
