Out of Garrett and all the guys beating him down in here, I know who I would want on my six if we ever got in a brawl.

I'll follow up with post about everything before 8 seconds left tomorrow.
That was really really stupid by Garrett. He was fine until the helmet swing. Just take out that one part and nobody is talking about anything.
That said, I've seen too many browns players get targeted by Steelers to shed a tear. I think/hope Miles will get the same 5 games Haynesworth got. I think Rudolph is safe, but I would hope Pouncey sits. Dude was throwing bombs and then kicked multiple times.
Randall will get suspended as well for the headshot. Honestly, I think the Randall hit was the most egregious.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Has there ever been a coach less equipped to handle something like this? This isn't on Freddie. This is on Garrett having roid rage or whatever. The team played well aside from this.

Rodulph could not have been hit if he wasnt running after Myles and throwing a punch after trying to rip Myles helmet off. Rodulph started it and continued it then threw his hands up like he is innocent. I call BS on that

Just unbelievable. I really wonder if Rudolph said something awful to Garrett. Not that it makes it any better.
I can't imagine Garrett being able to come back this year at all. I think the rest of the year is probably what he's getting.
Awful, 2 wins in a row, offense has played better. Team isn't turning the ball over, defense has picked up, and now everything is going to be more difficult now that your best defensive player, and arguably best overall player won't be back until 2020.
Baker Mayfield said all the right things after the game too. Flat out calling out Garrett for setting the team back.
The overall discipline of this team is horrendous and it's the number one knock against Freddie Kitchens in a decent list of knocks.

We win! It was another ugly win with an unfortunate ending. But it's a win and I'll be back next week to watch the Browns.

Everything good about this game was flushed by Myles' actions. I am disgusted and disappointed. This is snatching defeat from the jaws of victory in typical Browns fasion. The storyline until we play them again will be this. Garret won't even be playing when we have to go into their house to be booed and hated by their fan base. The Steelers get exactly what they wanted. Instead of leaving tonight with their tails between their legs, they win the emotional battle and will be fired up to kick our asses in two weeks. We handed them the fire and gasoline to burn us down. And once again, we are complete losers on the national stage. Doesn't matter that Rudolph started it. Unless he called Garret the N-word, there is no excuse for hitting him like that. This is un-f-ing-believable. This is an absolute perfect synopsis. Spot. F'ing. On. Myles Garrett is an immature loser. I'm embarrassed to be a Browns fan. I don't know what was said, or what happened beyond Rudolph grabbing Myles' helmet. I'm just severely disappointed in Myles swinging that helmet. I don't think he's a loser. He may be immature, but he's young. We need him and he hurt the team by not being there because of the pending suspension, and by painting us in this light when we need it the least. That's as far as I'll go beyond saying I'm disgusted and disappointed by his actions.

What I'm disgusted with are the fans turning their back on one of our best players for standing up to THREE Steelers that were fighting him. But it's ALL his fault and no one else is to blame. Right. I really do hope we cut him and I hope he goes to the Steelers or the Ravens. I would laugh my ass off. Garrett is done for the season as he should be. He has every right to defend himself. But not by swinging a helmet at another player's head. That is dangerous by any standard. The NFL needs to send a CLEAR message that that particular conduct will NEVER be tolerated and there will be a SEVERE penalty for doing so. There are a few Steelers who will be sitting down too for sure especially Pouncey for kicking a player in the helmet (that precedent has already been established).
The Browns finally have a leader in the building. It won't be long before Jim Schwartz is in charge. Thankfully.

Just saying...hes done for the year more than likely...
Sad, as he is the only one who continues to push the pocket.

Hey, at least no bottles were thrown. Well done fans. If there was a better time for that to happen, it was then. Might as well go all out on national tv

Rudolph should be suspended also! For what? Grabbing Garrett’s face mask, getting in his face? Big deal. Had he ripped Mason’s helmet off and walked away, nothing happens. No suspensions, maybe fines. Total horsebleep. This team continues to be the worst professional sports organization. I’m embarrassed to be a Browns fan. Just horrible.

Quick reaction. Rudolph should have been ejected.
Pouncey and garret could be suspended for multiple weeks.
Pouncey could be gone longer than garrett. yeah . Why wasn't Rudolph ejected! I doubt Pouncy even gets suspended

If Rodulph wasnt running after Myles he would not have been able to swing at him. I get that, and I tend to think Rudolph may have said something completely offensive to cause Myles to go at him. But the optics do not work in our favor. We've lost our best pass rusher at a critical point in the season, and I'm disappointed in the action. But as I said, I don't know what was said. If Rudolph said something egregious, I understand Myles' reaction as a man, but I don't like it as a fan, particularly as a Browns fan.

Garrett wasn't defending himself. He drove Rudolph into the ground for no reason because he's a petulant child. This is the guy that does something stupid nearly every week. Rudoplh either took exception to it or got his hand caught in his helmet and we were off to the races.
He's a grade A jerk. I'm embarssed to be a Browns fan. His teammates are embarrassed. What does that tell you when his teammates go on national TV and don't defend him and have looks on their faces of embarrassment?
I keep harping on this. We have an organization of people that puts themselves before the Browns. This was a glowing example of that.
Defensive player of the year? Pfffffttt.

I think something must of been said or done to Myles for him to go crazy like that but unfortunately we will probably never know.I mean Myles got punched in the face a couple weeks ago by a fan and didn't retaliate. I truly believe something must have set him off

Not great having Steve Smith, who sucker punched a teammate and broke his nose, and Michael Irvin, stabbed a teammate in the neck with scissors, as the guys commenting on this game.

Not saying he's not, and he may be guilty of much worse, but Myles effective swung at his head with a club, a weapon. He was trying to take him out. There's no excuse for that.

Pouncey could be gone longer than garrett. yeah . Why wasn't Rudolph ejected! I doubt Pouncy even gets suspended Garrett has to be gone for the year - that was the worst thing I've seen since the Haynesworth head-stomp (and might be worse)...
Kitchen's is also responsible - he was asking for trouble sending three all-out blitzes in the last 1 minute when up 14. You don't do that, and the Steelers were right to be pissed.
But at the end of the day, you can't swing a helmet at a helmetless player - one inch or two and Rudolph could be dead now -- the idea that he was asking for it by getting into a shoving match is just silly. you're right.. we should have just set on the bench and let them score. Be good sports. This is the dumbest comment I've read and am literally dumber for reading it!
