And he left the shovel in Berea for the next flavor of the month that comes along.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Is it their QB? Their WR's? Their RB situation? I don't think their talent is any better at all. It's a nice jab at Dorsey but we have plenty of talent. Still some holes to fill but we have the skill positions to fill in around like we've never had before. But then you already know that. Maybe all but Wr. Plus Oline, Dline….can't say on DB's

Mmmmm hmmmm. Too bad that Chubb did worse than Zeke.

I think I take Zeke over Nick, and I am a BIG SEC fan and sorry to say, not as much of a OSU fan anymore.
Both are good.

Remember when John Dorsey held a coaching search and didn't involve people because they hurt his friend's feelings? Talk about not hiring the most qualified candidate. . .

No one has a clue at this point ... all 3 of the alleged finalist make sense as their all analytics guys cause that’s what the thief believes is the key to the magic kingdom ...
Josh makes the most sense cause he’s been exposed yo them in a major way under BB ,,, i believe BB has been using some remedial form of analytics since his days as DC of the gnats ...
Kevin and Daboll are both big time into analytics and I have no clue if the thief values Josh’s more than likely longer and deeper exposure to them ...
Those 3 all make perfect sense in that regard ,,,
And PIT i don’t believe were getting leftovers ... the thief has made it clear its analytics or bust and these guys have been using analytics more than likely longer than most ...

Good one Pit.
I wish I could get excited about any of the candidates.
I can't. Just curious.
Even if Paul Brown was reincarnated and hired. I would feel the same.
Prove it. I am over all the talk and hype.
Results are all I care about.

No actually i don’t ... seeing as how we interviewed about 10 people last year i’d say it was a pretty exhaustive search .... Then there’s the fact Kev was one of two finalists last year and he’’s one of the 3 finalist this year with the other two consisting of someone on nones radar last year and Josh who we have no clue why he didn’t interview ... Who did we not interview and whose feelings would KJ have hurt?

I like the idea of Saleh. IMO, we need a defensive minded coach. Our offense is loaded with talent, if Saleh brings the McDaniel from SF as OC, our offence should be fine. We have not had a dominant defense for years. The way Saleh plays his defense in SF is what I like. Make Myles as effective as Bosa.

I have been thinking a defensive headed coach may be better. Or maybe I am just tired of head coaches trying to call plays and head coach at the same time. Honest question. How often does this set up work? I know Hue tried it and as far as I know Freddie tried it.

Because KJ didn’t want to hurt whose feelings? Not Dorsey's feelings. Reread cfrs's comment. He's referring to Josh McDaniels spurning Chris Ballard. Chris Ballard and Dorsey are close friends.

This puts Berry and #Colts assistant GM Ed Dodds on the #Browns’ radar for GM, which I believe is a solid indication that #Patriots OC Josh McDaniels will not be the next head coach of the Browns https://twitter.com/CharlesRobinson/status/1216108750848786432

One thing is for sure, they definitely are trying to bring these guys in as a team. I think that is huge. That being said, any of them could fail, so I'm sticking to whoever it is, I'll wait until I see the product they put on the field before I make any judgement.

Been busy the last two days ,... but does it seem like we might be leaning Stefanski or Saleh now?
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I guess I'll be behind whomever we choose, but I really don't want "coordinator guy". At least McDaniels already has his Head Coach training wheels certificate. I believe he might be ready to hit the ground running as HC, minus the learning curve.

Came here to say something similar .... the parts on the SF D is superior to the Vikings O .... but with that said the Vikings offense looked unimaginative and pretty toothless. Trying to figure out what the attraction is, Cook, Diggs, Theilen... they have some good tools. Cousins is at least average.
The more things change the more they stay the same.

Does Zimmer get fired and Stefanski promoted to HC in a coup similar to the Lovie Smith/Koetter fire/hire?

Just because Stefanski's offense is pedestrian, doesn't necessarily mean Saleh is the next Belicheck.

I think it's Saleh. Have thought that for awhile. I'm probably wrong. Not a lot of leaks. I do think that if McDaniels was the guy we'd know by now.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

McD may have asked for too much. I don't hate the guy but if he asked for unquestioned power I'm fine if they let him walk. I think there should always be someone to answer to. Someone to ask, "Do you REALLY want to do that"? That's why they put a copilot in a cockpit...

Ok, so...what is protocol on announcing a hire IF said coach is still coaching (let's say it is Saleh..when can they announce? Does it have to wait until SF lose or after the Super Bowl if they make it)?

They haven't announced Stefanski yet so it can't be him... He was completely out-coached by Saleh. Stefanski did demonstrate that bewildered what the heck is going on facial expression that all of our recent coaches (kitchens, Hue, Shurmur) have had. Now all he needs to get the job is a catch phrase. He needs to remember that we battled and I need to look at the film have already been taken.
Am I perfect? No Am I trying to be a better person? Also no

Wait until the Browns throw everyone for a loop and name Greg Roman the HC. The forgotten man also still coaching in the playoffs. He’s been my quiet favorite. He’s always made a soufflé with whatever ingredients he’s been given. I know nothing about him otherwise and if he’d be a good leader but I love what he’s done.
