CC will settle down and take control he's been waiting for this moment a long time. He's got something to prove.

Nice to see Lofton come thru.

Great 1st inning - would have loved to knock around what's his name a bit more.

Looks like CC is settling down

Great pick off!

We need to get a few more runs, and preferably early, get to the Yanks bullpen and even hit ours a little early to keep Sabathia within his scheduled pitch count, basically use the Pinella move tried yesterday, except this time do it the right way.

Now if CC can pitch this inning with a relatively low pitch count, were setting ourselves up to finish strong. Torre will pull Wong in a very quick fashion.

Tire their pen.

Winslow is there with no shirt and Indians painted across his chest with a real tomahawk that he will throw at the umps if they blow a call and war drums.

I could care less who he cheers for in baseball... it was nice to hear him say that he is good friends with some of the guys and supports them as individuals... I'm sure he'll cheer for them once they get to the WS

No he is a bandwagon fan, he will cheer for the Red Sox in the ALCS, then the Cubs if they some how make it to the world series.

What did everyone think of that Jeter strikeout? He and Martinez were jawing, Victor called and fastball inside, and CC just fired it in there. Jeter fell over he swung so hard!

And who cares who LBJ roots for? Sure, I wasn't happy to hear what teams he roots for, but as long as he keeps playing well for the Cavs, I could care less if he was a Steelers fan... Well actually, I don't think I could forgive that, but you get the idea.

Man what is this ump calling? I am "watching" the game on MLB gameday, and they post where the pitches are. A lot of high outside balls being called strikes....at least it looks like it on my computer.

Indians fans already criticize Sabathia on a number of issues — his weight, wearing his cap sideways, being seen at a Golden State Warriors game this winter sporting a (gasp) New York Yankees hat and sitting next to exiled outfielder Milton Bradley to boot. So, not surprisingly, Sabathia isn’t worried that he might now be portrayed as unpatriotic.

“I don’t care at all,” Sabathia said. “They can say whatever they want.”

What was cool though, the guy interviewing him called him on being a frontrunner, but I agree that is disrespectful to a city that supports him, if anything he shouldn't have gone to the damn game.

It sure looks like a bunch of C.Cs "balls" would have been wangs "strikes."

Freming (sp) is calling a tight game tonight, alot of those pitches do look nice but from the TV you can't get a true read on location.

I agree.

He might as well spit on the fans who pay his salary.

LBJ needs to go home.
