I thought fully guaranteed meant no matter if you are cut. The team has to pay that total no matter what.
While total guaranteed meant including roster and other bonuses if you remained on the team and met those goals.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Even looking at the Free Agent Glossary it's pretty confusing.

Browns is the Browns

You have mentioned Kwiatkoski before. I am not very familiar w/him and can't offer an opinion. Are you able to break down his strengths and weaknesses and why he would be a good signing?

Slow night, I guess. I spent most of my time since my last post researching Kwiatkoski. The NFL articles were lame. There were a couple about either GB or Denver pursuing him, but it was hard to get a read on how good he is. I eventually looked up his college reports. I thought this one came across as the most knowledgeable, but I'm not really sure if it is or not. Like I said earlier........I am not familiar w/this particular player and cannot offer my own personal evaluation. PFF scouting report: Nick Kwiatkoski, LB, West VirginiaBelow is the PFF draft profile for West Virginia's Nick Kwiatkoski, which incorporates PFF’s college grades and scouting intel from our team of analysts. To see all of PFF’s 2016 scouting reports, click here. Position fit: Best fit is inside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme or strong linebacker in certain 4-3 schemes. Stats to know: Finished fourth in the nation amongst linebackers against the run (+21.7 run defense grade) and sixth in coverage (+9.0 coverage grade). What he does best: • Strong “flipper” when attacking blocks in the run game. Packs a punch working downhill against blockers. • Uses same style to push the pocket as a blitzer. • Had success when playing head-up on tight ends in the run game, set a strong edge. • Makes lead blockers play when taking them on. • Does a nice job of sifting through the trash to find the ball carrier when left unblocked. • Graded well on both the front and back side of running plays. Biggest concern: • While he’s good at attacking blockers, he struggles to shed if he doesn’t win on initial contact. • Will lose sight of the ball at times in the run game. • Can get caught attacking the run with the wrong shoulder. • Had a few bad missed tackles in space. • Can be slow to react in coverage, gets sucked in by play-action. • Lacks depth in zones at times and lacks the recovery speed to make up for it. • Isn’t great in man-coverage against tight ends Bottom line: There’s nothing exceptional about Kwiatkoski’s game, but he’s productive in all phases. He can be a disruptor in the run game while making the routine plays in coverage. He may be limited to early downs, and he could be a useful “thumper” in a 3-4 scheme, taking on blocks and setting up his teammates to make plays. https://www.pff.com/news/draft-pff-scouting-report-nick-kwiatkoski-lb-west-virginia Ehhh..............not so sure. I prefer Joe. I think pass defense in today's NFL is much more important. But again, I don't really know. Just speculating on the limited info I have on the guy.

So we should expect a contract north of this for Conklin

Cleveland Browns Free Agency Preview https://www.si.com/nfl/browns/browns-maven-features/cleveland-browns-free-agency-preview2019 Record 6-10 Unrestricted Free Agents LB Joe Schobert DB Damarious Randall DB Juston Burris DB Eric Murray WR Rashard Higgins OT Greg Robinson QB Drew Stanton LB Christian Kirksey (Released) OL Eric Kush (Released) DB Travis Carrie (Released) LB Adarius Taylor (Released) Restricted Free Agents RB Kareem Hunt DE Bryan Cox Jr. OL Justin McCray TE Ricky Seals-Jones WR KhaDarel Hodge (Exclusive Rights) RB Dontrell Hilliard (Exclusive Rights) TE Pharaoh Brown (Exclusive Rights) Salary Cap Space -$63,817,140 2019 Rollover - $32,328,127 Free Agency Plan The Browns have been public in their desire to keep Kareem Hunt for at least another season. Andrew Berry, the team's general manager, admitted at the NFL scouting combine they plan to put a tender on him, but haven't announced which level. The most realistic expectation is they will put an original round tender on him. Beyond that, the Browns currently have two safeties on their roster in Sheldrick Redwine and J.T. Hassell, who is on a reserves/futures contract, so they may prioritize keeping Juston Burris and Eric Murray, who were both effective last season. They can start in a pinch as they showed in 2019, but both make excellent depth. To this point, the Browns appear to be planning for 2020 without linebacker Joe Schobert, who will be the most sought after free agent on their team. They are going to have to replace three linebackers at this point, set to lose Schobert and just having released Christian Kirksey and Adarius Taylor. The Browns need to address the offensive tackle position and could take a look at some of the more premium targets, but it seems more practical to go after second and third tier free agents and make their biggest moves at that position in the upcoming NFL Draft. Top 5 Free Agent Targets 1. Anthony Harris, S Minnesota Vikings - One of the biggest needs on the team is safety as they are unlikely to re-sign Damarious Randall and have no one else in house to take over at free safety. The Minnesota Vikings don't have much wiggle room with the salary cap, Anthony Harris was fantastic the past two seasons and the Browns offer him familiarity with coaches that were with the Vikings as recently as 2019. 2. Shaq Lawson, EDGE Buffalo Bills - The Browns have to make a decision on Olivier Vernon's status for 2020, but whether they keep him or not, former first round pick Shaq Lawson is a logical target to supplement their pass rush. Lawson is coming off of a productive year, should be a reasonable costed player that can be a starter across from Myles Garrett whenever they plan for life after Vernon. 3. Karl Joseph, S Las Vegas Raiders - The Browns are prioritizing safeties that can cover and while Joseph didn't work out with the Raiders as they would've hoped, he was an effective player. He's young, still only 26 and could be a nice value play that gives them an effective strong safety. Vonn Bell from the New Orleans Saints could be of interest as well. 4. Kamu Grugier-Hill, LB Philadelphia Eagles - Hill played reasonably well for the Eagles in relief last season. The Browns have to add help at their weak side linebacker spot and their general manager, Andrew Berry, came from the Eagles so that familiarity might help the Browns sign him. 5. Rashod Hill, OT Minnesota Vikings - The Browns need help up front at the offensive tackle position. In Hill, they could get someone familiar with the offensive system head coach Kevin Stefanski intends to run, can step in and play as well as help teammates learn it quickly.

I guess the question now becomes if the often injured Kirksey is worth 8 million a year, is Joe worth 10 mil per year?

If I'm a RB starved team I pay that second in a heartbeat. Bad move IMHO. Would have liked to have kept Burnett too. If I didn't know better, I'd say this is looking like another rebuild.

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet · 22m Source: The #Colts are releasing veteran DT Margus Hunt, a starter over the last three seasons.

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet · 6m Interesting from @MikeGarafolo : #Redskins OL Ereck Flowers is going to be a free agent and could command up to $10M per year. His market is strong.

I was simply going by the numbers published about his asking price. Each season fans get outraged over the price players command. But as the salary cap goes up, so do their contracts.
