sounds like the Browns may possibly resign Schobert.

Good, hopefully his market settled

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Interesting .. I have thought that Carr was the better talent. Maybe they want a Quarterback competition.

#Nfl #Panthers are signing S Juston Burris to a two-year, $8 million contract on Monday.

In 2019, Burris appeared in 14 games for the Browns and recorded 32 tackles, one sack, two interceptions, a forced fumble and seven pass defenses.

sounds like it will be the Browns, Bengals, or Packers.

I believe we were making a last-second push to get him back.

packers might be the least likely after picking up Kiko

I would argue that a second round pick (and four years of a cheap contract) and whoever replaces Hunt would be more valuable than Hunt for one year.

He's a backup. It'll be interesting to see how much he gets paid.

I haven't seen Schobert credibly linked to any team.

The #Cowboys have reached an agreement in principle with WR Amari Cooper on a 5-year, $100M deal, source says. He never wanted to leave Dallas, and now he sticks around.

$10M a year is what he wanted. Wonder where Littleton and Schobert fall.

I would expect Schobert and Litteton will probably get 11 plus now.

JIMMIE WARD
DB, SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

49ers re-signed S Jimmie Ward to a three-year, $28.5 million contract.

Ward has struggled to stay on the field -- he's played 40-of-64 possible games over the last four seasons -- but he's a nice starter whenever healthy and was a priority for the front office. Still only 29 years old, Ward can hold down the back-end of the 49ers' secondary as they try to make another Super Bowl. He is coming off a career-high 65 tackles.

I’ve seen Schobert linked with Cincy a few places. He won’t get more than 10 million per year now since Martinez set the market.

I’d offer him 3 years 27 million

Looking at some safety targets for us ... I’d keep an eye on Jaymon Kearse from Minnesota. Probably a cheaper option than Murray ended up to be

I don't think Cincinnati should be thinking about linebacker. They should be worried about protecting the guy they're going to draft at #1.

Teams like the Bengals shouldn't be building a team for 5 or 6 wins this year. They should be building a team to win 12 games 2 years down the road. Follow the Browns model.

Burnett was never going to be on the team.

Over 30 and coming off a torn achilles...he'd probably never be the same player.

If Mayfield blows with all this around him, he needs to be sent packing. No one in the NFL has the weapons he does

nope. it ended my friends' NFL career. He was never the same. Sadly, that injury really takes 2 years to heal.

That’s why they tagged Dak. They need them both desperately.

I think Brady will end up in LA or Tampa. I also think Andy Dalton would be a good fit in NE. If not Dalton, then maybe Brissett (assuming Rivers signs with the Colts).
