Looks like a very solid full back. Gave up a 2021 7th round pick for Andy.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
I forgot about the Quinn part. That trade was hilarious.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.
Looked fine on the clip and he moves well. Two tights, this guy, a sensible BM, and a coach who can use two-headed monster like Chubb & Hunt, wow. I don't favor using the FB all the time, but this has me intrigued.

we have let most of the LBers and Safeties get signed away.
Not sure what they're going to do about the LB situation (though Kirksey wasn't on the depth chart), so besides Mack W, I figure they'll be working in Takitaki more & trading for and/or drafting one. It makes me wonder if they would forgo an LT in the first round to make a move for Simmons. But then I think, naw... they have to get an LT. Patrick Queen could possibly be there for us in the 2nd round, or we could make a move up for him. Also, it does look like a decent draft for safeties.

Yeah Taki taki got better as the season went along. I still say Mack is going to be an excellent Mike and leader on that Defense. Got a top rate FB again for our NEW SYSTEM... See what 49ers did with their FB???

Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!
I agree ... smart move to poach a Swiss Army knife like that from a team who’s system has changed

If you don’t mind, I’m gonna hutch my wagon to yours. I think Mack has something there most people have yet to see too. Besides, I like your record. A ways back you used to get torched about Buster Skrine...

I get that FBs are kinda insignificant now ... BUT if your system utilizes them well (SF/MIN/CLE) it’s a thing of beauty IMO

I mean it's obvious ... but with Chubb/Hunt in the backfield, if we can run the ball "at will" / well - it's going to be tough to stop good play action calls with OBJ, Landry, Hooper, Njoku running routes. There's going to have to be some opportunities to throw those guys open *if* Baker is back to 2018 instead of 2019.
Oh - and yes - I am a big fan of a good FB. I don't think we have had one since Mike Sellers?

The more things change the more they stay the same.
From what I have heard, the local team physicians closest to players will likely be doing the physicals. (so if a guy lives in NY in the off-season, a Giants or Jets doctor would do his physical for whatever team he is signing with)

The Browns on Friday acquired fullback Andy Janovich in a trade with the Broncos, filling a major need for an offense that is expected to need major contributions from the position.
Cleveland sent Denver a 2021 seventh-round pick in the deal.
"I'm really excited to add Andy into our group," Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said. "He's a schematic fit to what we want to be. He has all the intangibles you think of when you think of fullbacks. He's as tough as they come. He's a team player through and through. Fits the mentality of what we're trying to be."
Janovich is entering his fifth NFL season and first outside of Denver, where he entered the league as a sixth-round pick out of Nebraska. Over four seasons, Janovich appeared in 50 games with 19 starts. He didn't miss a game during the 2017-18 seasons but had his 2019 campaign limited to seven games because of an elbow injury.
"I'm really excited," Janovich said. "They're going to have an offense like (Gary) Kubiak had or I had with (Rich) Scangarello here. I'm really excited I'm going to a place that wants to use and utilize what I can bring."
