With the draft now around 48 hours away I thought it would be interesting to start another one of these threads specifically for LB. Linebacker is a definite weakness of ours on paper going into the draft.
1. Isaiah Simmons The clear cut #1 LB in the draft. If he falls to #10, I would take him and go LT in round #2 or find a way to trade back into the late first round.
2. Patrick Queen A little bit overrated in my book but still a day #1 starter in the NFL. There is a significant drop off after Simmons. 3. Willie Gay Jr. Has some off the field concerns but I have him very close to the #2 spot on my list. If we go T at #10 and he is there at #41, I would take him in a heartbeat even if Murray is there.
4. Jordyn Brooks Solid all the way around. Had an amazing PFF score last year. Has the speed you want to seal the edges at the NFL level (RIP Joe Shoebert).
5. Kenneth Murray Has all the physical tools to be successful at the NFL level but I don't get all the hype. Has a tendency to miss tackles. If he falls to us at 41 I would pass on him.
Who are your top 5 linebackers and why?

I would like Queen or Wilson
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I think Wilson is a great sleeper for our second 3rd round pick or 4th rounder.
I'd rather have Akeem Davis-Gaither and Logan Wilson over Malik Harrison.

I think so too ... Wilson looks like a faster Schobert
