I'm not sure what Teller did to get ready last offseason, but, as long at it wasn't steroids or selling his soul to the devil, we need to get the rest of the OL on that regimen!
He's been a straight-up beast, and is just as critical to our run game success as Chubb.
And to think, we all thought the RG spot was going to be a weakness coming into the year! I echo the thoughts that we need to get him locked-up long term now while we still have some leverage!

Teller is a must extend for me at this point. He was surprisingly solid in the 1st half for missing so many games, but after getting beat by Luiget early in the 3rd he became an absolute beast for the remainder of the game. I like him when he's angry.

Teller has demanded respect. Think we should clone him.
Is this level of play a fluke? Doesn't seem yo be so to me. Is there more upside from here? Putting some of his line brothers to shame.

From the ^ article ^ What we learned
Stefanski called an impressive game Sunday. What Browns fans should be most excited about (other than rooting for a 6-3 team) is the way Cleveland’s first-year head coach planned for the future while simultaneously winning a football game.
I think Stefanski only ran two plays out of pistol, used his tight ends like up backs once and gave Hunt a lone slot handoff, because it’s a tease. He showed enough to get the plays on tape. Now opponents must prepare for these formations while Stefanski gains intel on how defenses handle his new wrinkles.
Like an expert chess player, once a defensive coordinator develops a check move, in later weeks Stefanski will throw his counterattack. That's my coach. Love it.

What a fantastic ending to the game! For once, it was exactly what us Browns fans needed. All hail Nick Chubb!

Coaching matters in the NFL.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

A little late on this, but that was a really nice win for the Bronws. Once again they responded after a loss (the bye definitely helped don't get me wrong) against a team they have struggled with for years. Houston just always seems to have our number.
The game itself was not that watchable. I am not a fan of weather games. I know that will upset the caveman fans who think football should be played in the worst weather humanly possible.
The older I get the more I think the NFL should be played in climate controlled stadiums. Either get a dome or get what Indy has.
I went to the Big Ten championship some years ago. It was really cold outside. It was nice to take my seat and take my coat off. The quality of the game was much much better too.
I know people wanna rag on Baker, but his last 2 games have been played in complete dog crap weather. They went run heavy and that was the smart thing to do. This offense when Chubb and Hunt are in is just such a beast for teams to handle. If the Browns can ever figure out how to play defense, having those 2 in your backfield in the 4th quarter when guys are tired, hurt, etc... could be lethal. It ain't gonna happen this year, but maybe next year we can have a real defense.
6-3 is really good for this team. They have some games left on the schedule that they can win too. I do believe we will have a better showing against Pitt and Baltimore the second time around. Those to me are the most interesting games left. I want to see how Kevin Stefanski adjusts. I realize the Pitt game could be a throwaway, maybe even for both teams.
I have this sinking feeling that the Browns could have a repeat of 07, where you get 10 wins and no playoffs. It's possible. The win over Indy is certainly helpful, but that loss to the Raiders was a tough blow. You have a lot of 6-3 teams and teams around that as well right now. Lot of games left to play obviously but the Browns can't afford to lose games they should win.

Agreed and next weeks Philly game will be tough. We can control our own destiny at this point. We just have to take care of business.

I think we finally 'won' vs the bye week. Past regimes made this A LOT harder than it sounds.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Yup, and I know Philly looks bad right now, but I don't expect anything less than a nail biter. That's why people trying to predict this kinda stuff before the season starts is just kinda stupid. You really don't know what you're getting into until that week arrives. People probably chalked up that Giants game as a W, and now? The Giants seem to be finding themselves a little bit these last few weeks.

Sperg, Philly is a better team than 3-5-1. They have had a lot of injuries and they are just now getting back their players. They need this game as badly as we do. It will be a tough game.

Yeah that's the thing, they are still very very much alive in a playoff hunt, because of that division. That really changes a lot. Gonna be a battle. Plus I think Dough Pederson is a good coach. I think it's a recipe for disaster for the Browns if they don't excecute.

As each week passes I find myself more and more supporting Stefanski.
Maybe after all the head coaching turmoil we finally have our guy?
If we have truly cemented the head coach and GM it will be the most significant improvement since coming back into the league.

Watching Chubb’s TD run again and we got lucky, Wills totally chop blocks #96 and it opens up a massive cutback for Chubb to score. I don’t mind it.

I saw a Browns guy on Twitter say this as well .. then someone replied that Bitonio had JUST disengaged and it wasn’t quite a penalty. Not sure what the rules are or if that’s even true, but I remember seeing the clip thinking we got a break too
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

One thing that really helped us on that play is that Watt gambled on it being play-action, and guessed wrong.

Sure seems like it. The team seems more organized. You also hear multiple guys, including key members of the team parroting his 1-0 message that he has gotten across to the team. That's a good sign that guys seem to be buying in this early. Gotta beat the Steelers though. Gotta beat the Ravens too. I am so intersted to see how the team comes out in that MNF game now that Baltimore has showed some weaknesses as this year goes on. We all flipped out after that week 1 beatdown, myself included, and now both teams are 6-3, and they have what could be a monumental matchup in front of the whole country on the horizon.

I think it is safe to say that Sefanski will return next year.

Less drama, better team... and the year after and the year after I'd say he gets 3 years easy based on this year (2 more years) at least

You hate seeing when guys or schemes work well, but the result doesn’t match

This might be a nooby moment of mine.... do we have an issue with our downfield blockers getting in the way of the runner?
It's something I think I keep seeing when we're running well... our own downfield blockers get somewhat involved with the tackle.

I think it is more our runners trying to stay behind the blockers to set up blocks/lanes and trying to see which side of a block to go to. But, gaps close fast in the NFL and if the runner tries to cut too closely off the back of a blocker and the defender can shed or another defender is coming in, then the runner is boxed. The moment they commit to one side, they are not restricted in where they can go until/unless they get past that blocker.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.
