yea for sure.
buuut, if they lose today, and i think they take the L against buffalo. there's a chance we can be tied with the steelers after week 15.
we got titans, ravens, giants, jets.
they have WFT, bills, bengals, colts.
its most likely playing with the schedule that we can battle for the division week 17.
but man WFT isn't looking like an automatic W for anyone now with alex smith back. i know its wishful thinking, but if we can find a way to beat the titans, and i think we can really compete with the ravens this go around, there's a ***chance*** we could go into week 17 against them being 1 game up.
again, wishful thinking, but at 8-3, the browns got me completely sucked in bro.

and because they got screwed over the the scheduling, we could have the rest advantage.

Another steeler offensive miscue.
If I thought this game were fixed, I'd have thought they planned it.

I think this is all being set up to keep the Browns out of the playoffs. But I think that way.
Score 7-12, Ravens driving, missed on 3rd and long, and the refs gave them a first on roughing the passer,
that not even the tv ref rules guy could find any reason why they called it.
3rd down ravens again, 10 minutes in the 3rd, somewhere around fg range, the uh, qb / hb exchange option who has the ball they both get tackled for a short loss.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Tramon Williams gets a mention, (think he used to be a Brown) no worries, Browns have Sendejo.
Steelers 2nd down their own 19, bring up 3rd and 4.

Steelers offense forced to punt again, they did no running all day, all day every drive it's been Ben Roethlisburger, lately mostly all 5 wides and quick pass. latest pass a completion for 1 yard to Claypool on 3rd and 4, to force the punt.

THe ravens look to be all manner of beatable.
They're not the juggernaut they were at the beginning of the season.
Teams have started to figure them out.

Browns should coach their Defensive Ends. to only Bear Hug Qb's on an open rush to the sack play,
and not bring the Qb to the ground, just bear hug the dude till they blow the whistle, that way they can't justify the rouging the passer false penalty flag.
TJ Watt bear hugged RG 3 and brought him down, and I thought for sure the bringing him to the ground would have drawn a flag if it had been the Browns' D.

Strange to watch Roethlisberger running a checkdown offense. I'm not really sure he can throw downfield anymore. On their first series of the game, Claypool had 2-3 steps on Humphrey and Ben way under-threw it.

Strange to watch smith Schuster stiff arm Kwan Williams and hope he gets into the end zone.
Steelers have somewhat taken the game in hand up 12 at this point, 19-7 and matriculating the ball, with repetitive short passes that are highly contested, and, well now Pitt will punt from mid field.
7+ to go in the 4th Ravens ball at their own 13.

RG3 is out, Trace McSorley is in for Baltimore at QB,
3rd and long completes for a pass just short of the line to gain, 4th down from their own 20 4th and 2 from their own 20, Baltimore picks up the first on an option type run. on 2nd down, for the ravens, the steelers db drops an int.
on 4th and 10 this time, the ravnes bring in the punt team.

With 2:53 to go, and no running plays in about the last 75 snaps,
the Steelers take the ball at their own 11 up 5.

geez, Ben just over the middle, a soft floating gimme int, into triple coverage, over the top of one and between 2, and his own guy came down with it. geez.
Stillers finaly run the ball, get 13, first run play in the last several drives. 2:16 to go, Steelers got 2 firsts on this drive. and theres still 2 16 to go,
2nd and 4, after snell carries in bounds

As far as heavyweight matchups go, that was a slap fight. Is it the Browns that make these teams look so good? Both of these teams put historic butt whoopins on Cleveland from their respective opening bells, but looked downright pathetic tonight. The only thing worse than Steelers receivers hands was Baltimore tackling. Good grief.
If either team plays us half as stupid as they played tonight, we have more than a chance.

Ravens dline did come to play, though. Steelers overall D did end up putting together a pretty solid effort.
Maybe I should give the Ravens offense a pass. They were missing lots of people.

Would have been a hell of an interesting game if Harbaugh didn't botch the hell out of the end of the 2nd Qtr.

One more thing: I don't think Pittsburgh matches up well with a team like KC. They are heavy on the blitz and Mahomes is at his best against the blitz. If Pitt's defense falters against KC's offense, I don't think Pitt's offense will be able to keep up.
Their biggest hope in that game (if it happens) is ball control. It seems like everyone of Pitt's drives takes about 1 full quarter.

We opened +4 and that quickly shot up to +6
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Didn't know where to put this. I heard on local radio about an hour ago Josh Gordon is eligible to return for the last 2 games. I didn't even know he was still trying to play. Who's he with Seattle?
