http://football.about.com/cs/bowlgames/a/bl_2003bowls.htmNow in case I missed something here is the breakdown...
2006-2007
Big Ten 2-5, 0-2 BCS bowls, 1-2 head to head with SEC
SEC 6-3, 2-0 Bcs bowls (including national champs) 2-1 with Big Ten
2005-2006
Big Ten 3-4, 2-0 in BCS bowls, 1-1 head to head with SEC
SEC 3-3, 0-1 in BCS bowls, 1-1 head to head
2004-2005
Big Ten 3-3, 0-1 in BCS bowls, 2-1 head to head
SEC 3-3, 1-0 in BCS bowls, 1-2 head to head
2003-2004
Big Ten 4-3, 1-1 in BCS bowls, 2-1 head to head
SEC 3-3, 1-0 in BCS bowls, 1-2 head to head
2002-2003
Big Ten 5-1, 1-1 in BCS bowls (including national champs), 2-1 head to head
SEC 3-4, 1-0 in BCS bowls, 1-2 head to head
Now I have said that the Big Ten is down this year (I believe I ranked them 4th in conferences this year) as well as last year but it is not the terrible conference you always make it out to be. The SEC (best conference last year and I ranked them #1 again) has not been the dominating conference you have made them out to be.
