What I find the most confusing is that we all know that this thing spreads and the newest strain that has just been reported is somewhere around 50% more contagious.
I have a problem understanding how people feel it's "their right" to endanger others health and in some cases their life and call it freedom. When "your freedoms" infringe on the health, safety and even the life of others, you're no longer exercising your freedoms. You are infringing on the freedom of those around you.

I’m on day 7 and seem to be on the other side now. Beyond what has been said about vitamins, the congestion is what got me the worst. I bought a steam inhaler and it had some wonders with being able to breathe.
Thanks guys. I feel fine other than nasal congested. I am taking vitamins and staying hydrated.
Back in January, when I now THINK I had it (it wasn't a known thing back then, really) and I know I had gotten IT (whatever IT is, from my daughter when she came home from college), the congestion was real, but for both of us, it was so far up in the nasal passages we couldn't blow our noses.
Sore throat, especially in the morning. Dry throat, especially at night, sometimes waking up gasping for breath because my mouth/throat was literally dry - as in I felt like I was choking.
Dead tired, constantly. Go to bed at 9:30, wake up at 8 wondering how I could get out of bed because I was so tired.
The stuffiness way up in the nasal passages turned into fluid in my ears, making my hearing issues even worse.
Night sweats the likes of which I've never had in my life.
Back then, according to 2 of my friends that thought they had the flu, but it lasted 2-3 weeks - went their doctor and were told "it's the crud".
It lasted, for me, a good 4 weeks.
Did I have it? I don't know. If I did, I don't want it again. If I didn't have it, I know I don't want it.
For the past 5-6 years, 4 couples have gotten together for New Years at a lake house in Michigan. Not doing it this year, but the couple with the lake house asked the rest of us to come to their house this NYE. Just 8 of us. (and of the other 6, 3 of them have def. had it.)
My wife declined on our behalf saying "Arch is worried about it. he's self employed and afraid he'll be off work for a few weeks if he gets it, if not worse."
My wife and I think we may have had it too in late December/January before it was known. We both went to the hospital with horrible symptoms, I was in and out a couple of times because my O2 levels kept dropping. It lasted way longer than anything like this I've had before. However the hospital said we tested positive for influenza 'A', so I don't know that it even could have been covid then. Kroger now has a $25 antibody test we thought about doing but I'm not even sure that would be conclusive since it seems the antibodies may not last that long.
I'd appreciate any of the medical pros on here telling me if that test for influenza 'A' could have been mistaken/false due to covid.

I was finding myself taking a lot of really hot showers during the day because it was the only time I could breathe. Then it hit me that it was the steam that was helping. Working in the arts, I always saw actors using these so I gave it a shot and it cleared me right up.
A lot of us give each other crap on here. It doesn't mean we wish ill will or hard times on anyone. I take it for how I see it. Families go round and round sometimes, but if someone in your family is going through a rough time, it doesn't mean that you're not in their corner.
I think there may be a few people that can't see past that. But that's on them if they take things in a political forum on a personal level.

Well LA county is now telling ambulances not to bring those who have little chance of survival to the hospital, they don't have the resources to try to save them at that point... We may well see a million or more dead before the vaccines can save us.

I read that article. Your post about it, and the actual headline, are a bit misleading.
Buried in the article is that the EMT's have been told if someone isn't breathing, or has no pulse, they are to do cpr for 20 minutes. If nothing after 20 minutes, don't bring them in. If the victim gets a pulse and/or breathing, bring them in.
Also, though, reports of LA county having ambulances wait hours to have a victim admitted into the e.r.
Some ambulances are driving more than an hour away to other hospitals, I guess.
Why are they going online? Why arent they directly talking to neighboring hospitals? Is it just for feeding hysteria and getting the Cali Govenor ousted?
In another story, Doctors are now going online begging any nearby hospitals with rooms to take their patients they don't have room for or staff for.
