All of a sudden you care about cops? How convenient. And what a lie.

You DO know what was being discussed was damian stating as fact that the rioters murdered a cop. Proof has been giving that that was NOT the case. Damian only goes by assumption, and what the media told him at the time, and it was convenient for him

You're falling right into it.

I know of NO one that endorsed or supported the attacks/rioters at the capital, yet some idiots can't separate factual statements from the fake ones they make up.

I don't need to learn jack. Challenging a false murder claim isn't bickering over lab results no matter how you spin it. I don't post much anymore, period. That's nothing new. Look at my history. I never said cops didn't get assaulted and I didn't support the rioters.

People here are saying a cop was murdered for political purposes, and that's not what happened. You're ok with that?

bro you don't seem to know anybody who does anything. such a recurring theme i dont even know what there is to discuss with you, cause you don't seem to know much of anything or anybody.

that level of obliviousness must be liberating. i gotta try it sometime.

well if you don't need to learn jack, what you here for? why do you even bother? i simply told YOU that you're helping other people around the country and in our government try and downplay the events by arguing about little crap.

i find the fact that people are out here trying to change the narrative a massive problem. so no, im not bothered by Daman getting the little bits wrong, especially when there seems to be plenty of conflicting information on how or what was responsible for him dying. but can you even bother admitting that the riots most certainly didn't help his situation?

ill start caring about the little details when you start showing the same energy for the big stuff. deal?

I "don't know any body that that does anything", and I don't "seem to know much of anything or any body?"

Really?

So, I don't bow down to your all knowing power?

Please. I haven't defended any rioter at the capital. I've even said those that broke in deserve what they get.

What I HAVE stated is the rioters did NOT kill an officer (which you have insinuated many times you'd like to do). Period.

Which police officer did they kill? That is the discussion. Try to keep up. Or, just keep on being you, bragging about your wealth.

By the way, when will you send me your wealth, as you stated you would do? Or was that a lie?

what bunch of nonsense.

bro you would NEVER defend or get even get ticked off about the details if it were a bunch of blacks storming government property.

bro, we ALL saw you on this board also questioning the election results. ya know, THE CENTRAL THEME to the entire riot!!!

yall don't get it. yall really out here talking as if this event actually started in jan 6th. it started looooong before then, and you and Jfanent and others have ABSOLUTELY defend and even spread the narrative about rigged elections and defending trump and his nonsense over it.

but ONLY, AND ONLY when crap got real on jan 6th did any of you decide to grow a conscious and act like it was terrible.

bro im so sick out of how fake you conservatives can be sometimes. like, that is legitimate fakeness right there. i really can't come up with a better word because hypocrisy just doesn't cut it.

we all know what the narrative would be if people who looked like me or liberals went storming the capital. omg you'd be the main one leading the charge with the pitchfork and torches, too.

and you DAMN sure wouldn't be correcting others from the details either, like you're trying to do Daman.

The little bits? Saying someone was murdered when they die of natural causes isn't "little bits". If people don't want the focus taken away from the narrative, they shouldn't resort to lying and false accusations. It's a problem on both sides.

I don't consider false murder accusations to bolster political agendas "little details". I consider it "big stuff". So a deal isn't necessary.

i dont, seeing as how the riot certainly made whatever he was going through worse. at a minimum.

and with the information out, doesn't seem like much a clear answer on that.

so yea, daman took a stance on a questionable detail like everyone else does. but on a thread dealing with the proud boys, you rather spend most of your time going back and forth about that.

you right, we don't need a deal. you keep helping me win all the time.

First you accuse me of defending the rioters. Then you say I'm bickering over lab results. Then you say I'm ignoring that cops were assaulted because I brought up and questioned a false murder accusation. Then you say I "don't even see how I'm coming across" because I don't post about all sides of a story.

Listen, I don't post here much at all, my history proves it. I occasionally look in here to see if something looks interesting or respond to something that gets my goat. I found somebody strongly defending a false murder accusation by posting pure BS and jumped on it (just as I'd expect someone to jump on me if I post something that's not true). Then you barge in here and belittle me for doing it, because I don't meet your standards for fair and balanced posting or whatever. What a frickin' joke.

There is no ‘then’.

You’re actively doing all of those things. That’s typically what you right wingers do. That’s MY fault for constantly getting sucked into it. You move the goal post, I keep scoring, but really, no one wins.

There's definitely someone moving a goal post here, and it isn't me. I have been solidly consistent since my first post in this thread. You're the one changing stories and accusations.

False, yet again.

My comments toward you were the same today as it was yesterday.

But hey bro this is America. It’s cool. You want to argue over the details while being silent on the big stuff. Dawg, that is your god given right as an American, and at the end of the day, all anybody can do is be mad.

But nothing changed from yesterday. You’re just trying to change the topic like you were doing yesterday cause...you know you out here helping these clowns spread the big lie narrative.

Oh well. Happy Monday.

It's not just Proud Boy leader Ethan Nordean who finally admits that Trump conned the Proud Boys then backed out on them after the PBs did Trumps dirty work.

...there is a 'trickle down' effect to Trumps lies and ways. The following comes from Nordean's family (father).

Owner of Wally’s says ‘not easy’ to disavow son’s involvement with ‘Proud Boys’ extremist group
Jun 23, 2020 | Business, Des Moines, Featured Post, News, Politics

By Jack Mayne

Mike Nordean – owner of Wally’s Chowder House in Des Moines – recently posted on the restaurant’s website a statement about his son Ethan’s involvement in an extremist hate group called the Proud Boys.

The Southern Poverty Law Center designated them as a Hate Group, and says “rank-and-file Proud Boys and leaders regularly spout white nationalist memes and maintain affiliations with known extremists.”

‘Love my son’
Nordean said he wanted to say “right off the bat that I love my son.”

But he admits “I was slow to recognize how radical and violent that group is.

“Those beliefs are NOT the values shared by my family, my businesses, and this community. Writing this is not easy, in part because of the personal guilt and frustration I feel for not paying closer attention and in part because I was frankly naïve.”

Until very recently, he said he and his wife my “were blind to the ideology that our son supports. We were told by our son that this group was a ‘patriotic’ group that were ‘protectors’ who stood up for freedom of speech and traditional values.

“We regretfully believed him.”

Eyes opened
He said of he and his wife, “in light of recent social events, our eyes have been opened.”

They “have reached out to our employees and those in our community who are understandably concerned to reassure them that we are listening, and to tell them that OUR values and the core values of our businesses are respect, decency, and open communication.”

But rumors have been floating.

‘Appalled’
“Let me be clear,” wrote Nordean. “Ethan no longer works for our restaurants. We do not share his misguided beliefs.

“We are disappointed and appalled that he has chosen this path,” he wrote.

“I want to say clearly that our restaurants respect diversity, Period. We reserve the right to refuse service and members of hate groups are not welcome in our establishments.”

Nordean wrote that Des Moines “has always been my home and I know it as a place of tolerance and grace. We hope you will continue to support our restaurants, our great employees, and this community.

“Hindsight, as they say, is 20/20.”

Here’s the full text of Nordean’s statement:

My name is Mike Nordean, owner of Wally’s Chowder House and Wally’s Drive-in. I want to address some serious comments being shared on the Internet and in local social media groups – some true and some not – involving the extreme activist group my son, Ethan, has embraced.

Let me say right off the bat that I love my son. That said, I admit that I was slow to recognize how radical and violent that group is. Those beliefs are NOT the values shared by my family, my businesses, and this community. Writing this is not easy, in part because of the personal guilt and frustration I feel for not paying closer attention and in part because I was frankly naïve.

My son, Ethan, is involved with an extremist group called the “Proud Boys.” Hindsight, as they say, is 20/20. Until very recently, my wife and I were blind to the ideology that our son supports. We were told by our son that this group was a “patriotic” group that were “protectors” who stood up for freedom of speech and traditional values. We regretfully believed him.

In light of recent social events, our eyes have been opened. We have reached out to our employees and those in our community who are understandably concerned to reassure them that we are listening, and to tell them that OUR values and the core values of our businesses are respect, decency, and open communication.

Because there have been rumors floating, let me be clear: Ethan no longer works for our restaurants. We do not share his misguided beliefs. We are disappointed and appalled that he has chosen this path.

I want to say clearly that our restaurants respect diversity. Period. We reserve the right to refuse service, and members of hate groups are not welcome in our establishments.

Finally, Des Moines has always been my home and I know it as a place of tolerance and grace. We hope you will continue to support our restaurants, our great employees, and this community.

Not a medical kinda thing.. It's a common sense kinda thing.. Even the ME said that his being beaten was responsible for his condition taking him out.

But you don't want to hear that... It doesn't clear you man child from the responsibility that he bares for the Riots..

Before January sixth, even as Trump advocated for violence during his campaign we told them, "Words have consequences". In reply they told us, "No, it's just him riling up the base". Some even said, "It's just the campaign, he'll act more presidential if he gets elected." How did that work out for them?

As he continued using words of division and hate we told them, "This will lead to violence and will not end well". We were told we had "Trump Derangement Syndrome".

We told them that "the big lie" over the election being stolen was dangerous and was a threat to democracy as we know it.

Their reply? "Maybe it was stolen. Let's wait and see".

Then, after January sixth actually happened they were like, "This is terrible and should have never happened!"

You explain it to them. You warn them. They ignore you. Then when it actually happens they seem to be in shock. And many of those very same people would stand in line again to vote for him.

This is so batcrap crazy you couldn't make it up if you tried.

Got a link for that statement?

All I can find is this, from Jfan's BBC article: The autopsy found no evidence of an allergic reaction to chemicals, nor of internal or external injuries, Dr Francisco Diaz said.

And now you have some trying to say "Jan 6th was no big deal - it's being blown out of proportion - it was a like an unscheduled tourist visit"

How stupid can they be when actual videos of the event proves they're lying? Maybe they don't realize that anyone taking an objective look at Jan. 6th knows that 140 Capital Police officers were injured?

Or maybe their news sources will never show them those videos? Maybe their tunnel vision precludes them from ever seeing those videos.

The "News" sources like the ones Fish spams the board with will certainly quote the Representative saying Jan 6th was blown out of all proportion - but they will NEVER show you footage of the violence and carnage. They will go to great lengths to talk about how the unhinged left reported a policeman was murdered and how the medical examiner concluded otherwise, so the "Left" are lying.

I have no doubt that some already think that the storming of the Capitol Building was mostly peaceful ... And I have no doubt there are a number of Cult of Trump that probably wish they had prevented the verification of the election by any means necessary and think Mike Pence is a traitor that should be executed. I'd love to say I don't think anyone on this board is that mornonic - but I don't don't know.

I will say it one last time: What happened at the capital was wrong, and perpetrated by goons and thugs. Okay?

Many of those people have been arrested and will be tried. That's a good thing, okay?

The march TO the capital was peaceful. Once there, the thugs ruined it, and they will, and should pay. Okay?

However, to state that the goons and thugs murdered an officer is wrong. The M.E. confirmed that. To then switch and say "well, the beating caused it", when the M.E. stated no sign of any injuries, internal or external" is again, wrong.

Then to switch things up again and state things like "SOME will ignore the violence and focus on the fake" is, yet again, wrong.

I know of no one on here, or in my personal life, that agreed with storming the capital. Period.

It IS possible for 'some' to differentiate between facts and fiction, and when someone attributes fiction to fact, to call them out on it. Period.

But, ya'll go on. Where will the goalposts be next?

Don't try to turn this on me.

Tell me what in my post is inaccurate.

If you don't believe the election was stolen - good.
If you believe the acts of Jan 6th were abhorrent - good.

I'm not talking about you - but there are some who will think the events were mostly peaceful and that lie is going to bet spun and spun on the heels of the "just like a tourist walk through" comment or whatever EXACT words he used (because you know, I'd hate to misquote someone and then have 50 posts about how inaccurate I was when I referred to what someone said).

I'm not talking about you - but some will have thought the Jan 6th event didn't go far enough and that protesters should have used whatever force necessary to prevent Biden being confirmed. And yes I mean by whatever means - because those idiots believe that the election was stolen and that by preventing Biden becoming POTUS would be patriotic. And whether you want to blame Trump or not - that sentiment of it being Patriotic to prevent the will of the people taking place was started, promoted and is STILL being promoted by Trump.

I get it. GOPers are tired of being labeled insane, inept, racists, crazy, fascists, etc. Sooner or later, maybe it will sink in that it's their actions and their rhetoric we are watching for our proof.

In fairness, the GOP was MORE responsible for Trump getting elected, but I don’t think they were the only ones responsible.

The only murdering I put on GOPers (mainly Trump) is the handling of covid. A large portion of those 550K+ people may well have still been here if Trump could have been honest and just put America first over his re-election. As a matter of fact, I think that is the biggest reason why Biden won so handily. Then the cry baby sore loser stuff and January 6th made damn sure he and his fascist nationalist ilk will not rule again for quite sometime.

BUT it's up to GOPers to put their own house in order before we move on as a nation, and so far we've seen none of that. Just more of the same crap you've served up for years with zero remorse for the 6th or the traitorous 4 years of Trump.

Get our house in order? How would we possibly do that when we're "insane, inept, racists, crazy, fascists"?

I'm still waiting on the results from the stolen election at Maricopa County AZ.

This is an embarrassment to the GOP.

'QAnon Shaman' lawyer makes offensive comments about Capitol rioters: 'They're all f---ing short-bus people'

Erin Snodgrass 14 hours ago

The lawyer for the "QAnon Shaman" said many Capitol riot defendants have mental impairments.
Albert Watkins delivered a litany of offensive claims about the defendants' intelligence levels.
The attorney told Insider he made the comments to highlight defendants with mental disabilities.
The outspoken lawyer for one of the Capitol attack defendants said his client and others charged in connection with the riot were especially susceptible to former President Donald Trump's election lies because of their mental capacity.

Albert Watkins, an attorney for Jacob Chansley, also known as the QAnon Shaman, delivered offensive, expletive-laden remarks on why the insurrection participants would take part in the deadly Capitol attack in a Talking Points Memo article published Tuesday.

"A lot of these defendants - and I'm going to use this colloquial term, perhaps disrespectfully - but they're all f---ing short-bus people," Watkins told the outlet. "These are people with brain damage."

He also called them an offensive term for someone with a developmental disability and suggested they had autism.

After listing the offensive insults against the defendants, Watkins said those traits made many of them deserving of sympathy, suggesting they were subjected to World War II levels of propaganda in the years leading up to January 6.

"But they're our brothers, our sisters, our neighbors, our coworkers - they're part of our country. These aren't bad people, they don't have prior criminal history," Watkins told Talking Points Memo. "F---, they were subjected to four-plus years of [censored] propaganda the likes of which the world has not seen since f---ing Hitler."

In a comment to Insider, Watkins acknowledged his statements were "politically incorrect" but said there was "reason and purpose" behind his decision to make them.

"My long-standing pleas for compassion and understanding of those involved in the events of January 6 with mental health issues and disabilities have to date fallen on deaf ears," Watkins said.

"One charged, insensitive, and vulgar statement was all that was required to garner the needed attention to this important aspect of the January 6 defendants," he added. "I respectfully suggest the next few days and weeks will demonstrate the prudence of this calibrated move."

Watkins also told Talking Points Memo that his client Chansley had Asperger's syndrome and said his mental state would play a role in his case.

Adorned with horns, a headdress, and face paint, Chansley became one of the most recognizable people at the Capitol on January 6. He was photographed several times with his bullhorn and flagpole throughout the building that day. He was arrested three days later in his hometown of Phoenix.

He was charged with two felonies and four misdemeanors: civil disorder, obstruction of an official proceeding, entering and remaining in a restricted building, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building, violent entry and disorderly conduct in a Capitol building, and parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building.

While many of the people charged in the attack have been granted pretrial release, Chansley has remained in federal facilities since his arrest, court records say.

Earlier this year, Watkins, an attorney in St. Louis, unsuccessfully asked for Chansley to be granted pretrial release because of the self-proclaimed shaman's religious-based dietary needs. The lawyer also said COVID-19 restrictions had made "meaningful, unmonitored" consultation with Chansley impossible.

In March, Watkins drew a federal judge's ire after Chansley gave a jailhouse interview for "60 Minutes+."

"Such media appearances are undoubtedly conducive to defense counsel's fame," Judge Royce Lamberth wrote. "But they are not at all conducive to an argument that the only way defense counsel could privately communicate with his client is if defendant were temporarily released."

Some lawyers, including Watkins, told Talking Points Memo that stressing Trump's role in inciting the Capitol riot may be a path to winning lighter sentences for their clients.

More than 480 people have been charged in the Capitol insurrection. Five people died during the attack, including a Capitol Police officer and a woman shot by Capitol Police. In the weeks following the attack, the head of the Capitol Police officers' union said 140 officers were injured.

I just listened to an interview of the lawyer responsible for the 'short bus' comment...Albert Watkins, who is the lawyer for QAnon Shaman..he is attempting to portray his clients as victims because they remain locked up.

Watkins is purposely using offensive language in an attempt to gain 'attention' for his cause..getting his ProudBoy clients out of jail.

Probably going to hear more from Watkins if he thinks this tactic is working.

It's ongoing. Trump is still spewing lies and propaganda and folks eat it up. Posters perpetuate it by trying to play the "maybe" game ... the "I don't know, I guess it's not impossible" game ...

Remember when some wanted to suggest that Trump was toast, impeaching him was a waste of time, because no matter how guilty he was, he was leaving office and the GOP was moving on !! LOL - and what did Graham say the other day? The GOP can't move forward without Trump. rofl
