That's exactly what he did. In the first half they rushed the edges but sat back in the middle and played passing lanes, now they are alternating between rushing and playing passing lanes... it's almost like they know what play is coming... almost... kind of.

If we fired Stefanski another team would hire him immediately without an interview.

Well we all know that Stefanski is unable to effectively adjust in game so that makes sense. Film study probably set up the Steelers to figure out what is coming. Just awful.

We run the most predictable offense in the nfl

I don't know which is worse, watching this game, or being sick as a dog.

Finally a big play

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Yea.. but he would not be calling plays!!.. I bet that would be the stipulation!!.. Stefanski's offense and his blind loyalty to a average

NO passing QB is coming to Cleveland to be shut down by that jackass Stefanski. Ditto for any quality WR. Stefanski MUST GO as the play caller. Period.

Not sure I get what you are saying. The idea here is we are passing too much, how is that shutting down a passing QB?
I'm saying this: No QB who likes to be aggressive and get the ball down the field is coming here. That guy doesn't want to be turned into a game manager. Stefanski's offense doesn't allow for any real aggression in the passing game. This is the same reason any quality WR will avoid Cleveland. See Stefon Diggs as an example. Stefanski's offense is basically not effective at this level. Maybe high school. Not beyond that. It simply doesn't challenge anyone. Sid Gillman always said that the fooltball field is 100 yards long and 53 yards wide. And it was his idea to make the defense defend every inch of the field. Stefanski has NO clue what to do at this level. His time is up as a play caller if Cleveland EVER wants to develop an offense that will be worthy of moving forward as a competitive force in the NFL.

I do agree with you on this... the rest of the league knows how to defend his offense but he will not adjust

Once again its because of his arrogance. His playcalling and his ability to make adjustments was a knock on him on MINNESOTA. I would guess he knows that is will do everything to prove his doubters wrong. HIS ARROGANCE WILL BE HIS DOWNFALL

This is not true.

But the broader point stands. Baker is a bigger problem than Stefanski.

Stefanski has regressed tremendously this year, starting with one of the most undisciplined teams in the league.

It's about time. The defense probably told the offense they were kicking their ass if they didn't start getting something done. Defense (even with some STUPID penalties) is playing well.

A travesty if Hooper is on the team next year instead of Njoku over money issues and bad contracts.

It just would have been tipped..Baker couldn't find a clear passing lane if it had runway lights. Had to go over the top.
