I think this game shows us that 50% Baker is not better than 100% Keenum against backups. in a pretty meaningless game. I do wish in retrospect, they would have shut down bake for a few weeks. there would be a lot less drama. in 2021 no one questioned Baker was the starting QB

I think this game shows us that 50% Baker is not better than 100% Keenum against backups. in a pretty meaningless game. Point still stands. Keenum has had success as a starter, we pay him 10mil a year specifically because of that . He would have been alot better option. At minimum gives baker a chance to heal

At minimum gives baker a chance to heal Point still stands that Keenum looks better against the Bengals backups. I am not sure how that really helps us though.

And to be clear, I am not saying Keenum should be our Qb going forward. 100% Baker is better than 100% Keenum
My point is that we pay him a lot of money to be a backup. We should have played him against Detroit and maybe another game to let Baker heal up
