LA Rams vs Cincinnati Bengals, Sunday Feb 13, 6:30 PM, NBC

Can't root for either of these teams. If I had to choose, I hope the Rams win 2-0, on an end zone sack by Aaron Donald.

The NFL awards the Rams the SB in L.A. as part of them moving their team and building a new stadium. L.A. just *happens* to get to be playing in the very same game.

Rams, since I have a futures bet on the Rams from Last February, and because Stafford deserves it after all he's had to endure, and Burrows is young enough he will have another chance. Add that I don't need Cinci fans thinking they are special

Cinci "fans" are annoying, but I just can't with Odell's exit from the Browns just to get everything he wants in LA. I'm not going to go all "now everyone will do that since it worked for him", I just don't wish him success given how he acted this year.

I'm sticking with rooting for the San Andreas Fault to just take the whole state during the 1st Quarter, but yours is what I'm rooting for if Plan A doesn't work out.

I can't root for the Bengals but just in case they win I am betting on them. So if they lose, it's a small price to pay. If they win, the winnings will help deal with the noise from all the LIFELONG Bengals fans. LOL

The Bengals came from the Browns so to me they and the Ravens are non-existent, because without Cleveland neither one exists ... GO RAMS

I think the Bengals will win it. Not really rooting for them, just think they'll beat the Rams. But if I was forced to root for a side, it would be the Bengals because OBJ is on the Rams, and can't root for him.

Projections for a Heat advisory, (Hot Summer like tempeartures) for the Super bowl on game day? What will the on field temperature be, 100 degrees? edit:

they say they can control the temperature inside the stadium.

The stadium which bills itself as a dome is part way not having outside walls, and iirc, had a game postponed by lightening in Sept or August of last year, it's opening year. (earlier this football season year).

Hoping for a really good competitive game. I would like to see the Bengals win because they are from Ohio and so am I, but I would still be somewhat happy to see the Rams win because Matt Stafford was on a bad team for so long and it's nice to see him finally shine.

I think the Rams have the edge on this one and if they win there will be a part of me that hates seeing OBJ being part of that. Another knife in the gut of a diehard Browns fan.

As others have said, I like that Stafford is finally able to be on a good team, and I like Cincy since they are from my teams division.

Much like SEC teams, I will mostly be for Cincy in this one. Them winning makes us better in a roundabout way. That said, if the Rams win, I won't be sad.

If I had to put $500 on it, I'd bet the Rams.

As a casual observation, it seems to me the Bengals defense is built on a traditional and basic model. They might have maximized the pieces but it seems very traditional, not new aged scheme. Not a bunch of smoke and mirrors and tricks.

BOTTOM LINE: RAMS DL VS BUNGALS OL ... I Will Take the RAMS DL

This battle between DL and OL is actually determined by LB/Secondary vs TE/WR.

If they can't cover well enough long enough, and the OL can give Burrow *just* enough time, that's all it takes.

on paper I think the Rams have more talent... but there's something about Burrow in the playoffs this year... wouldn't bet against him...

Either way this isn't a good SB for the Browns. Either way, or maybe both ways it is going to point to our team to some degree.

It will highlight Cincy and their QB situation v ours, and or OBJ and how he looked good in LA but not here.

Yup... it's either going to be the team we beat twice or the team where OBJ is indisputably 2nd or 3rd best instead of being the absolute best on the team by a huge margin.


This game highlights just how close we are to being there despite missing the playoffs, despite the hugely disappointing year by Baker, and despite a defense that lost us as many games as it kept us in.

Tyler Higbee the Rams TE has been ruled out of the SB.

I don't agree at all - I am rooting for the Bengals. We beat them twice with a QB who was awful for most of the year. For all the woe is me hand wringing we seem to have done as a fan base after narrowly missing out of the playoffs in the final 2 weeks of the season ... I think this super bowl shows how close we are. As for OBJ - after the way he did Cleveland wrong, I don't want him to succeed. But I am also not going to let whatever success he does or does not have this day impact me.

Could be a big day for Higgins and Boyd - my gut says the Rams will find a way to try to counter Ja'Marr CHase.

I boycotted the Rat’s fist SB game. I’ve never seen even a play of it. In my mind it barely existed. Part of me kinda wants to do the same this afternoon.
As it stands I’ll watch. If the Bungles get up big I’m turning it off.

I will be rooting against the Bengals, as usual, with gusto. I would never root for them or their bandwagon, trash talking, fickle, fake fans. Go Rams!!

My hope is that the game is tied 9-9, late in the 4th quarter. OBJ has already fumbled twice, losing both. The Rams have the ball, with less than a minute left, They are at midfield, and Stafford hits OBJ who is wide, wide open. He takes 4 steps, and no one is within 6 feet. Sudenly, he fumbles again. The Bengals recover at their own 35.

The Bengals take over. Burrows drops back, he gets hit as he throws, the Rams intercept, and take it back for the TD to win the game.

That would be my totally non vindictive fantasy.

I think a rams win with no significant contribution from OBJ would do it for me.

I look at the Titans playoff game against the Bengals and it gives me pause. The Titans defense sacked Burrows nine times. The Bengals still managed to win that game by a score of 19-16. Burrows still produced well in terms of percentage and yards but didn't pass for a TD. I think the Rams defense is just a tad better. So will the Bengals be able to protect Burrows? Tannehill threw 3 int's that day and was held to 16 points. I don't see the Bengals holding the rams to 16 points. All in all it should at least be a good game. Hopefully.

Man your posts get more ridiculous. Hard to believe but here is the evidence. I see that you're spinning again and suggesting that because other players on other teams complain and want to be traded that suddenly that it's okay. And that teams with malcontents that try to orchestrate a departure is just par for the course and fans shouldn't feel as if the player has done wrong by the team if they engineer a release ... not a trade, where the team might get something of value back even if it's a discount ... players engineering a release from the team should be treated like no big deal. lmao.
