Yeah, somebody pointed out that the world didn't react to the Middle East wars like this when brown children were being killed. So some of the more ardent anti-racism advocates jumped on that. I would usually take a harder look at what they are saying because I do support the struggle against racism… BUT the color of the child never mattered to me. I didn't like it then or now. So for me personally, it is ruthless timing to throw this in American faces, while we are being bombarded by fresh images of what's going on in Ukraine every few minutes. Also, it's in poor taste to pretend these white children are in any way privileged right now. So, I will acknowledge the point being made, but I'm not going down that rabbit hole.
Fair enough. I also won't act like that rabbit hole doesn't exist.

We've all spent over 15 years watching genocide in Darfur. We made it a mission at my restaurant to make people aware. People were "shocked" at the fact that they didn't know and it was never in the news. "Why doesn't the whole world know about this?"... "Because their skin is brown and they don't export oil."

The U.S. applied sanctions.

Can you tell me how the president of The United states controls global oil prices? I didn't think so. You do realize that inflation is a global issue and that the United states isn't alone in this, right?

I know you don't care as long as you can scream Biden.

These issues are 110% Joe Biden issues. He made the rain and now wants to deflect blame.

Yet once again you just babble crap with no explanation as to why. I'll ask you again, even though I expect no actual answer, how does Biden control the world oil prices? Since we currently have high inflation on a global scale, what is it Biden could do or have done to stop or prevent it?

Show me your 110%.

Last time inflation got this high it was Jimmy Carter's failed policies. Now, we did not learn from our past and are currently paying the price. It took Ronald Reagan to brings the country back from the brink last time. Is there a Ronald Reagan out there to do it this time?

What did Reagan do specifically? If you’re talking about insane spending to avoid a recession, yes, we’ve had a ton of Reagan’s since then, on both sides, whether a recession is imminent or not.

I mean, it’s kind of general and circumstantial based. If we take it from a circumstantial standpoint, we’re better off COVID-wise, while worse off because Russia has invaded Ukraine and inflation is bad. I’m not exactly sure what is being correlated to what democrats have become.

I think there are a lot of specific issues they have which are bad, but I’ve gone into those already. I don’t know what to make of a generalized statement, though.

I mean, if you’re going to come out and say something, say it. You’re not one to hold back.

Can we get a new president already? Pretty much 99% of people I've talked to think the administration is garbage.

By the way, has the southern border immigration problem been fixed yet? I haven't forgotten about that.

Right. We are all paying out the ass for everything and we are way too close to nuclear war.
I had to make a correction..those of us who still pay for things are paying out the ass.

A whole bunch of you need brain transplants because yours simply don't function right. This BS blaming Biden for gas and inflation… You could have elected Mr. Perfect, and it would be the same crap going on. Biden didn't start the pandemic, wars in the Middle East and Ukraine, or the Trump presidency. Those are the reasons we are where we are AND the same dolts crying about this now are a BIG PART of why we are here to begin with. This is why the party of insurrection can not be allowed to continue.

I’m not sure what electing a pro wrestler would do to get this country back on track, but I’m willing to give it a try.

Oh horse manure. We had the border reasonably controlled, with the help of Mexico, we did not need to call opec and beg them to pump more oil or import oil from the Russkies. Inflation was minimal. And now it is all a mess.

Guaranteed, if trump were President right now you and your comrades would be blaming it all on him. So suck it up buttercup.

Trump would not make it better, and he did make it worse. The whole world sees that but the few blind idiots still supporting him. But bashing Biden for things he didn't do and had no control over helps nobody, just like insurrection doesn't make us stronger. So stick that in your ass, buttercup.

BTW, the border is a MINOR issue, all things considered. I'd rather live with Mexicans here illegally, working hard, than most Trump supporters with actual citizenship and a birthright. Especially when they think like this.

So does Biden's policy on US oil and drilling have nothing to do with gas prices?? Weren't we energy independent about a year or two ago??

Sure am glad that our President and VP are begging Saudi Arabia and Venezuela to produce more oil for us... I would think it'd make sense to let our own drill more, but hey... its better if the drill is abroad right?

I think it's hilarious that all the Trumpians are like what about gas prices, oil, etc. But I've yet to see any mad about Obama letting US oil companies export our oil. Nope, republicans wanted that.

This is not how I'd describe the border situation at all. IIRC, we were prosecuting illegal aliens, but how you call that "the border reasonably controlled" is a massive leap. And how did Mexico help with this fictitious border control? I can't stand liberals' general take on border (in)security as much as the next guy, but a sure-fire way to get me to defend them is to invent these fantasies to describe what was going on under Trump. No better than AOC staging the crying photos looking at an empty parking lot.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Maybe you should be asking yourself why Saudi Arabia cut its production in the first place.

Special Report: Trump told Saudi: Cut oil supply or lose U.S. military support - sources

It seems you're busier trying to throw accusations at a president trying to fix the problem more than the one who created it.

Well golly gee, you don’t have to get so testy. I was just trying to point a way out for you. It has to be tough living amongst 70 million people you absolutely hate. The most despicable of humans. You know, your own giant basket of deplorables. Contrast them with those illegals you love. Kind hearted, loving, hard working. Just great people to be around. Well, ok, they are criminals but nobody is perfect. Since you love them so much and hate so much of America it just made sense to me.

I don’t give a hoot who you defend but the Mexican government used their military at their southern border to help cut off the flow of those caravans and other migrants flowing across their southern border and heading to the rio grande. They also allowed migrants to be held in Mexico while we were processing their case. Of course a year ago we changed that policy and now we just dump them into middle America.

Why don’t you talk to some border agents right now and ask them to describe the border situation now compared to 18 months ago. I would bet they can give you an earful. Ask them how morale is amongst border agents compared to when trump was President.

I don't hate the people Keith. There are a lot of very good people who fell for Trump's BS. I hate what the whole Trump movement stands for. If you can't understand that, I can't help you. Here's what you guys don't seem to get; fascism, authoritarianism, hate, fear mongering, ignorance, racism, white supremacy, and the constant lying (especially when lives are on the line) all go against every fiber of my being, so yes I hate all things Trump. And the idiocy that ushered in the tea party is what drove me away from the GOP. That idiocy now, after going completely off the rails, is in complete control of the party. The likes of Q have more influence on GOPers than Reagan. And nothing is normal or acceptable about that to me. I despise what the right has become politically.

And calling Mexicans criminals for crossing the border to a better life is a bit thin for me. Sorry that bothers you so much. I don't think desperate people wanting a safer, better life for themselves and their families is so horrible. And I could NEVER defend the way their children have been treated in recent years. UNACCEPTABLE. Do you disagree?

I want strong border control too. But it must be humane, and we should accept more of them into our country IMO. Being poor, brown, and Spanish speaking doesn't make them lesser in any way to me. Maybe that's the difference between us. After the food shortages of the pandemic, we all know we need those food industry migrants, illegal or not.
