This reminded me that the Jaguars traded Schobert to the Steelers and that Schobert forced that fumble on Landry that basically lost us the Pittsburgh game and now I hate the Jaguars for signing this guy.

I'm guessing we'll be in the market for one or two of these guys. That price seems like quite a bit for a guy who doesn't rush the passer.

That's a ton of money for a DT that I've never even heard of.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

....I think Danny Shelton is available.
I actually wouldn't hate it at the right price.

I actually wouldn't hate it at the right price. Shelton played 29% of the Giants snaps last season. That's better than I thought because I didn't even know he was in the league.

Man, the way these contracts are floating...Wouldn't be surprised if Clowney fetches 20 mill from someone.

I feel like I've seen this before. Get Trent Baalke on the phone and offer a fourth rounder for Laviska Shenault!

I don't like a world in which the Bengals spend money.

I don't like a world in which the Bengals spend money. Even letting Ogunjobi go, they are still addressing the trenches in a major way, at least spending-wise.

Scares me most, is now Allen Robinson is going to probably hold out for more money (if we are in serious talks with him)

Anyone find out what Trubiskys contract is worth? Just curious, to see what the market is for a QB

Maybe I'm late to the game, but Trubisky is going to the Steelers.

Maybe I'm late to the game, but Trubisky is going to the Steelers. Yes he is. Which, strangely, seems to be pleasing Browns and Steeler's fans alike. He's definitely a possible upgrade over Mason Rudolph.

This amazes me. He's a solid backup/3rd QB quietly making millions. He and Hoyer have long careers doing just that.

I don't know how I feel about Trubisky in Pittsburgh. We always seem to struggle with backup quality, mobile QBs. We give up long scrambles to Chad Henne.
At least I'll get to amuse myself by calling the Steelers' QB Mr. Pittbiscuit for awhile. It's the small things in life.

Whenever I see a word like "invoices" on these things, I can't help but think they simply copy/pasted the agent text.

This amazes me. He's a solid backup/3rd QB quietly making millions. He and Hoyer have long careers doing just that. Being a back-up QB in the NFL might be the sweetest gig in sports. You can hang around until you are around 40, make millions a year to rarely play, and when you do people don't really expect all that much.

Shocked that Kirk got so much
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
