I've caught myself stopping on the Christmas station on XM a few times when I've been flipping. I think the other three Christmas stations start on Friday, if I recall correctly.

I usually don't listen to the radio, so I don't know.
I personally don't like Christmas music until mid-December or so. I don't see the point of Christmas music in November, but whatever floats your boat....
When it's time for Christmas tunes, gotta start with Elvis... "won't see no sleigh or reindeer, no sack on my back/you'll just see me comin' in a big black Cadillac..."

But Jay-Z is such a larger star, why not start with his Christmas album "Shoot the F&*#$@ Reindeer, and put a cap in Santa Claus, beyotch" ?

NOOOOOO!!!! I want to scream... I was out at Easton (shopping plaza in Columbus) and they already had lights and music and it was a week ago!!! There needs to be a law... no Christmas anything till after Thanksgiving. I don't put anything up till the first of December... let Thanksgiving get noticed for crying out loud.
I love Christmas and all but this goes well beyond overkill. My MP3 and Ipod get plenty of work this time of year.
