Bill B, per usual, keeping everyone guessing about everyone’s status. I am sure that Harris will be out tho
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Not sure how to feel about this
wonder if he was cleared to play
He must have been
He's making the call that he isn't
What a let down

Nobody knows but as we can see conclusions will be reached none the less.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I feel like Clowney wakes up, stretches, yawns, and more often than not just says "Nah, not today..."

He’s certainly an enigma. Whether he’s injured severely or not, it still is frustrating for all

Every year between Ward and Clowney it's just a matter of when they won't be playing not if. They're 2 of our best D players and they can't be relied upon. That's not acceptable and our FO should start to consider replacing them in the offseason.

Yea those 2 guys are always out too especially Williams. If Ward is going to be here awhile maybe, he should start taping himself up before games.

It’s like clockwork that the same rotation of guys falls on the “OUT” list

Probably and with his medical history and the way he's been playing you'd be lucky to get a 4th round pick for him. Yes, we're stuck with him like it or not. Hope he starts playing the way he did before his extension!

I saw where the kid is out with another concussion. It's too bad. Ward is a good player, but if he was a boxer he would be the guy with a 3-17 record and finally retire because he can't take a punch.
That isn't his fault, he just can't take a hit to the head. Just the way it is for some people. Unlike a boxer who is on fight to fight contracts, he is sitting on a 4 years deal, so he isn't going to retire. He is going to sit back and avoid contact.
I guess I can't blame him, but it sure doesn't help our football team. Ward isn't as good as a Deion Sanders who could side step contact and get away with it because he brought so much else to his team.

I don't think you can tape yourself up for a concussion. Frankly, I am not sure we should be making light of concussions. They are serious and often lead to problems many, many years later.

Vers, I'm not making light of a concussion. I understand they're serious and didn't have that in mind when I posted my comment. Didn't Ward have a shoulder, ankle or knee injury too? That's what I meant, and it was a reference to the players of years ago who used to get taped up so they could get back in.

Yes, he has had multiple injuries over the years. I wasn't sure if you guys were aware he had a concussion. I read peen's post later. FYI.......this is Ward's second concussion that I know of.

Some people are more susceptible than others. You just never know until you start getting banged in the head. It's not something you can train for or anything like that. It's just the way it is. Shock waves impact different peoples brains differently. Some more, some less. I do have to remember Williams talking about Ward is going to have problems if he keeps tackling like that...head first. Maybe it is still some of that? If you think about a boxer, getting hit face forward usually isn't the knock-out blow, it is the hit like a hook that hits the side of the head that jars the brain and staggers the guy. If Ward keeps getting kneed in the side or back of the helmet, he is going to have problems. That is why QB's have problems when slamming the back of their head in to the turf...it's like a rabbit punch in boxing, which is illegal.

Agreed again.
I have noticed that Ward has changed his tackling style.
One thing I know is that once you get one concussion, you are much more susceptible to getting another one. It keeps increasing as you go along. This is Ward's second [that I am aware of.] I am pretty sure his first was during his rookie year, so that's been awhile. It's still something to monitor.

They haven’t ruled out Jones, but they also elevated a QB

Have Ward or Clowney made it a full season without injury in their careers?
If it's not Chaos, it's not Cleveland.
