Great coaching performance on all sides of the ball and ST.
At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

Deshaun has not progressed at the rate I think we all hoped he would.
That said, Amari Cooper is legit.

Yes, this will be a false sense of optimism after beating a team with one hand tied behind their backs.

The offense = bad in the first @uarter the offense = bad in the front of the 3rd @uarter.
The HC botched the end of the game running out of the clock.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Watson may not have got back to pre-layoff form.... and maybe he had some wide open receivers to hit today (in addition to some that were tighter) but some of the throws today looked very, very pretty.
The only reason why I watched the game was to see DW and if he is improving. The result probably guarantees another year or more for Stefanski - and as you say, Cooper is legit. Baring one insane year by Flash, Cooper to me is easily the most complete and best WR we have had since the return, what I enjoy most about watching him is that he seems always, and I mean always) to be in complete control of his body, route, hands, positioning in relation to the coverage.
The more things change the more they stay the same.

Watson was very good in the 2nd half, we couldn’t get the ball downfield in the 1st but our HT adjustments seemed to work. Chubb over a hundred, and the run D, for the most part, had a great game. We gave up too many sacks in the first half but their front is beast-like. Nice to see Cade with no misses

I believe the Browns org wants to win out.
I also believe that they used this game and next game to get Watson as many reps in different situations as possible
As has been said, these games are like practice games to help Watson for the start of next season
Didn't see any quit in the players
Delpit is stepping up
Was a little concerned on how the OL watched Watson escaping from a sack instead of getting in some blocks to help him out
Washington may be struggling at the QB position, but they have talent and in no way is a push over
Winning this game shows support from the players to the coaches and fans !

Kevin now 2 and 0 against that red team. how many wins does he have against the Ravens, one?
He beats the NFC teams at a rate too often to not be the AFC being the team plays in the AFC.

Ron Rivera gets a game ball for starting Wentz.
Right now Wentz is broken.
Jones and Ragland have played well.
I did not expect a win, I think the outcome would have been different if Heineke played.

Good 2nd half. OUr offense finally was clicking and moving.
Cooper is legit as is Chubb … of course lol
Washington is awful
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I think we are starting to see why we got Watson. Amen. And it ain't all about the stats. If fans can't tell the difference between Watson and 'average', or even 'good', they need their eyes checked.

Watson was pretty average today at best. Held the ball too long, was afraid to throw, ran into multiple sacks, and couldn't outrun a backup DL multiple times. His first TD pass came on a broken play, his second was a nice read, and his third was a nice scheme by Sterfanski. Took until midway through the third quarter to get going and passed for under 200 yds. I think fans should be concerned first about Stefanski and second about Watson with Stefanski. While today wasn't a step back, I don't know that it was a step forward.

Had holiday company and only got to watch the first few offensive snaps. Good to hear Watson looks somewhat better.

I won’t dispute all your points, but we were under a lot of pressure in the first half and couldn’t get guys open down the field. I thought he made some picturesque throws in the second half, threw for three TDs and got the W. I’m good with his production this afternoon in your nation’s capital.
You got your wish and Mayfield is gone, you’re been ranting about KS for weeks but he isn’t going anywhere, you gonna use Watson as your new trolling target?

I think we are starting to see why we got Watson. What did you see in this game that Brissett couldn't have done and was worth the near quarter of a billion guaranteed dollars and 3 first round draft picks?

When you give up 3 1st RD picks for a QB, being Good isn't good enough.at this point I don't see anything About Watson through his handful of starts that defines Special or elite. He struggled in GOOD WEATHER today for half A game vs the Commanders He looks like he lacks confidence as he scans the field Like he is unsure where the ball is supposed to go. Next year he has to be better than Burrow In order To win the North

Biggest thing for myself if you don't mind me chiming in on your question to Peen Was a 4th Quarter that kept an offense scoring and in the game not to lose It is little things like this that the Browns have to overcome a little step winning the 4th quarter battle It's a win

If Stefanski can petition the league to play Wentz every week, the future is bright. I would agree with you, but the FO is still working on the petition last week for: opponents having to pass it less than 20 times all game, so Reggie Ragland can look like the next Michael Singletary.

I’m only guessing, but I have a hunch that at half-time we schemed to get some deeper plays open. The 1st Watson-Cooper TD shifted momentum big-time. Great throw, The Amari Shake and to the house we go.

I don't understand how fans of a team can be so negative towards the team they root for
I sometimes think some fans are so miserable that losing is what they root for
The Browns won today ! Other teams have won
Pats win by two
KC wins by three over Denver
Saints win by 10 over the Eagles
The Chargers are just killing the Rams
Jets are losing to the Seahawks
Packers spanking the Vikings
The Browns win by 14 and most posts are negative
What the hell ! It's a win today
Hopefully the Browns win for a sweep next week
Sad thing is
There will be Browns Fans crying moaning and bitching if they do
GO Browns !

I don't want to win. I want the playoffs. I don't want wasted seasons. I don't think Stefanski is a good coach and I cannot envision him leading a team to the Super Bowl. This is why I am negative.
We've wasted back to back seasons with arguably top 5 players at DE, RB, CB, and G. We have a top ranked OL.
I just don't enjoy wins that are meaningless. That's just me and my fandom. I don’t begrudge anyone who enjoyed today. I just view it differently.

Rishuz, there have been many injuries on the Defense side of the ball
I feel ya and I know
But ya got to keep the positive in the fight
Eventually it will work out
I know most of us are getting older and the fear of not watching a Browns SB scares us
If I pass before a SB, Heaven or hell
Imma gonna celebrate like a MF !!!

We actually have people making excuses as to why we won and saying Washington sucks. They don't suck. They were in the playoffs and we knocked them out.
