I think we're in the market for another TE too. Bryant is replaceable.
I think he is replaceable but he is also serviceable as well. I wouldn't see them stretching just to replace him.

To expound on your point, it's clear and obvious that there seems to be an unlimited number of really good backs in the draft and in FA each year.
In a passing league where more defenses are shifting their primary focus to stopping the pass and becoming more forgiving of not being as good against the run, even average backs look pretty good and can keep chains moving.

Best of luck to him, but yeah, if he comes out cold, he'll be fighting to get signed for backup spots at league minimum.
Loved the guy when he was here, didn't think that was the most important place for us to be making big moves at the time as our defense was FAR more suspect (as we continued to see all through the following season), but it remains that he followed a disappointing season with a dismal season and if he is going to reestablish himself in this league, his performances need to be better than his bravado.
