They're tough every week. The people that set the lines are pretty good. Plus, you've got the randomness factor of injuries and things like Josh Allen forgetting that Jordan Whitehead was on the other team.

I wasn't. I pretty much felt Philly would win the game. But giving them eight and a half points I felt was a little much. It's hard for me to put too much stock in the first week of games and all of last season the Vikings proved themselves to be worthy opponents. In the end the betting line on these games makes all but a very few of them very tough to call.

With the help of a meaningless FG in LA, I did manage to end the day 6-7. I could actually end up above .500 on the week somehow. I need to win both games tonight just to have a .500 week. Need the Browns to win by 3 or more points and Carolina to either win or lose by no more than 4 points.
