In watching the game last night I couldn't help but think of all the talent we have on both the Browns and Cavs but how we are below average at head coach and how that's holding both teams back. Indy is a collection of jags...don't care about Haliburton...no team is winning anything with him...but they have a great coach. The Cavs have a legit superstar, and two top three picks, and it looked like we would lose 8 out of 10 to Indy if we played 10 straight. Indy moves, hustles, plays with grit and toughness...the Cavs struggle to even get a good look at the basket. And why were we signing Strus/Niang when Bruce Brown was out there?

It's very tough to watch, especially with a legit superstar on the team...who will likely not want to be on the team after this year.

gosh the courts last night were unbearable! I couldn't watch the games

yep, spot on. JB is a horrible coach, he has zero clue how to run a motion offense. The defense on the perimter is record breaking bad, the amount of 3's teams make against us and the percentage at what they do is just not conducive to winning, No team is ever out of it against us and we are never far enough ahead to be comfortable. Niang, strus, and TT were stupid signings and didn't help us at all. This is 2007 all over again, except Mitchell is playing the role of lebron and we have like 13 Sasha Pavlovics and Ira Newbles

Cavs with their best effort of the season. Bench is still a concern. Anytime we can beat the crybaby warriors is a good win. Watson and Garrett were at the game

Garrett became a minority stake owner of the Cavs. Maybe Watson wants to see what thats like since he has a spare 230M.

Browns and Cavs win on the same day .. a Cleveland rarity

Cavs actually played with some fire yesterday, like they wanted to win.

I still don't understand JBs rotations. If it were me, I wouldn't have it where Garland or Mitchell have to be on the floor at all times. Let the second unit sink or swim on their own. I think it messes up the flow of the starting five. I also wouldn't give Wade any minutes. Guy is so timid. His only attribute is 3 pointers and he loves to pass them up for no reason.

I didn't really care for the Niang signing as every time I watched him in Philly he never looked good. But guy has heart. Hustles on defense and listening to interviews with him sounds like a leader. The problem is the Cavs might be the most unathletic team in the league and he's really unathletic. But I do think he's an upgrade over Cedi. Cedi just didn't seem to have a very high basketball IQ.

Hopefully this is the trigger to go on a bit of a winning streak.

Another Cavs game and another game with us getting out played, out hustled, and out coached. Microcosm of JB tenure as a coach.

I really like DG, but he is almost unplayable in the last 6:00 of a game. Really bad turnovers, that hurts alot.

Garland is a guy I would trade for an upgrade at a wing position.. Hes a decent player along side a superstar, but he can't carry the load himself. Lavert should be the starting 2 next to DM, move garland to the 6 man PG off the bench and lead that group. Bench is just bad, when the bench comes in everything just screeches to a halt.

The biggest issue with Cavs besides JB is that Mobley is still the same player he was as a rookie. Zero improvement. And he is incredibly un-physical.

Going to be a long disappointing season if that doesn't change.

I think we were hoping Mobley would become more NBA-ish athletically ... and he hasn't. He's really a detriment and can't play position-less

I’ve been saying that for 3 years lol. Lavert is the second best player on this team. He’s a difference maker

Part of that is he and Mitchell are the only ones not afraid of the moment.

He would be a nobody if he didn't play for the Warriors. Literally zero skill. He's got hustle and heart but that would have only gotten him so far on any other team. And yes, he acts like a moron. I think he got thrown out tonight on a really odd review simply because the refs had enough of him. He was in their faces all night.

I didn't see the game, but this shows it pays to play nice with the people who can throw you out of a game. If he is the sandpaper and he thinks the refs are the block of wood, the refs won't need much to him to get the hell off "their" court.

Draymond is really easy to root against (obviously)

Another bad effort tonight. We have two seven footers and we constantly get out scored in the paint. That tells me we need new bigs

It's really interesting. The Cavs beat the Warriors twice because the Warriors are an unathletic, non-physical, half court team, just like the Cavs. So it was a nice match up.

The issue is 80% of the NBA teams are long, athletic, physical, positionless teams, not unathletic, non-physcial teams. So what do the Cavs do? Their two big free agent signings are try hard, unathletic, low skill guys who have to count on Mitchell and Garland to get them looks, just requiring them to work even harder.

Add in some really bizarre rotations (he gives Garland and Mitchell as few minutes together as possible) and no identity at all on offense and it would not surprise me at all if the Cavs barely make the play in. I actually am regretting paying for the league pass. Can you imagine what's going to happen when they play Boston, Milwaukee, Philly?

God this team sucks, garland is a liability. It’s time to fire JB , dude can’t coach a rec league. Stomped by a bad Kings team. Strus and niang were horrible additions

Can’t defend paint can’t defend perimeter. Offense is the same two sets over and over. This team is getting outcoached every game. This one courtesy of Mike Brown

Oh look Garland out again. Cavs need to do what they can to move him this year, Get Mitchell some reliable help. Garland is just a liability anymore.

Game in Portland tonight .. Cavs *should win

let a team that is clearly tanking stay in the game all the way until midway of the 4th until Mitchell finally said enough is enough, if you clowns aren't going to hit anything, I'll close it. Portland needs a PG desperately.. If I'm altman, trade them Garland for Grant. solves two problems, the backlog at PG and the need for a good wing player. throw in Wade Niang and strus too.. God those 3 absolutely suck What horrible moves by Altman. beyond barely scoring, their defense and turnovers are just not sustainable and won't be to make any kind of run, its like Mitchell and levert and thats it, and they both are running on a treadmill on a 15 incline every game because of the supporting cast. They won last night but they should have with a team like portland trading everything away and are in rebuild. I will say strus tried to do more than shoot the 3 because that wasn't working at all for him, but the rest, and Allen got bullied inside all game. If you have 2 bigs that are supposed to defend the paint, why are you playing inside out defense, thats like 1980's coaching. You have the investment in bigs to be able to defend the paint so you can put pressure on the perimeter and close out.. we aren't doing that and we get torched . We have two sets, high Iso and High screen.. thats it.. they run it over and over and only thing we do is switch sides...Mitchel, Mobley and levert had to play 35 minutes to beat a 20 win team.. thats not good. We only went 8 deep, this early in the season you should be running 10 deep. Just alot still wrong with this team and it starts with JB/Altman
