I’m posting this because it has some info that has changed. Mainly that you can now put 2 players on IR without exposing them to waivers. Also comment from the pregame where Berry said we should be getting 1 or 2 tackles back in the next week or two.The Greetham Angle's 53-Man Roster and 16-Man Practice Squad Projection for the 2024 Cleveland Browns
The Browns, along with all other NFL teams, must trim their roster from 90 to 53 players by Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m. Here's our best guess at who will be on the roster at the deadline, with one of the biggest unknowns is the injury status of several key players.

BEREA, Ohio -- The Cleveland Browns and the rest of the NFL must reduce their rosters to the mandated 53-man limit by 4 p.m. on Tues. Aug 27.
"We try to take in the entire body of work in the roster decisions," Andrew Berry said before the final preseason game. "With any good organization, it is a partnership between your coaching staff and the front office."
Kevin Stefanski said the Browns have a good roster and making the final roster decisions will be difficult.
There are also new rules in 2024 for designating players to return from injured reserve. Teams will have a maximum of eight designations during the regular season, the same as last year, but they also will get two additional designations in the postseason.
If a team has not used up its eight designations in the regular season, it can carry those into the postseason for a total of 10 designations.
Players can return from the injured reserve list a total of two times, including the postseason.
Teams can also place two players on injured reserve the day of the initial roster cutdown to 53 players. Previously, players had to spend at least one day on the 53-man roster to be eligible for activation from injured reserve later in the year.
Players on injured reserve still are required to miss four games before returning from the list.
The biggest caveat in the projection is the Browns started training camp with seven players given injury designations and there has been no indication by the Browns, which players, if any will be activated from the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) or Non-Football Injury (NFI) lists.
Running back Nick Chubb (knee), offensive tackle Jack Conklin (knee), offensive tackle Jedrick Wills (knee), safety D'Anthony Bell (shin) and defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson (knee) have been on the PUP list since the beginning of training camp, while cornerback Greg Newsome (hamstring) and running back Nyheim Hines (knee) have been on the NFL list.
On the pregame television broadcast of the Seahawks' game, Andrew Berry said he expected one or two offensive linemen to return in the next week or two.
With that said, after the three preseason games, here is The Greetham Angle's projection of what we think the final roster will look like, initially, before waiver claims, ahead of the roster's being reduced.
