I don't know if the person has a visa for themself or one that includes their family. Either way, the family needs to leave on time or shouldn't be here at all.
As for what happened in Nashville, I don't know if it happened or not. I don't pay much attention to Nashville news. If you say it happened, I will take your word. Nothing here has gone on like that.
Let me say this. I empathize. I think I have already made that clear. I don't sympathize. While somewhat close in definition, they aren't always the same..
If they came here illegally, they have always known something like this could happen. It's not my fault they put their family members in jeopardy of being separated. Just because previous administration didn't do much this isn't this administrations fault, but it is their problem.
To be honest, I don't think this would be anywhere near the issue it is today had the last administration not allowed unfettered access across an open border.
People just butt heads in this forum. None of us are going to adopt the position of the other.

As you know, they are masked because you lefty clowns doxx them and put their families lives in danger.
And the operation in Nashville made 500 stops approximately. Unlike you I was not there so I do it know their color. But I do know this. About 100 were detained for immigration violations, including a tda member, a child rapist , about 30 who had been deported and reentered illegally, a felony. There were others who had criminal convictions or criminal charges.
Any not included in those groups broke into our country illegally and all need to be deported.
As should always be the case America controls who comes into our country. I ain't buying into the "I'm masked to protect my family" Crap... They are ashamed of what they are doing. Bush, Obama and Biden all expelled more folks than Trump has in his first and so far in his second term.... And they didn't have to blow off the constitution to accomplish it. They followed the law as it was written. Like I said, this is a show that trump puts on. Nothing more and nothing less. Everything with him is Show Business. By the way, who's killing who. All I've seen so far is Righty's killing people. That is another one of those made up crap storms.
