I have no idea. The prosecutor dropped the charges based on video evidence that the supposed victims story was false. I guess they must need a statement from God himself that Judkins didn't do it. Even that may not do it.

I am beginning to think the guy is a problem. Based on what? I suppose the contract situation. I did say beginning. That doesn't mean it is set, nor can it change.

Exactly. I don't recall anyone saying or reading about character issues with Judkins. The incident in July, to my knowledge, was the first and only issue. Why do some people on this board fabricate things? I have posted several times about how the guy was perceived at Ole Miss. He wasn't exactly the kind of teammate people really liked. He was complaining about money there and now it could be a hang-up here. To be fair, the Browns might be the ones delaying the signing.

Like stated before the pics before and after got the guaranteed money. I think the Browns are hesitant to give him the same guaranteed money because of a fear of suspension

Ball I remember you posting that about Judkins but not being liked by some of your teammates doesn’t mean that you’re a lawbreaker or criminal. As far as complaining about money that goes on all the time. Why hasn’t he signed? Who knows. We can only speculate.

I think it's all about the guarantees. Browns probably want none
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Dart was telling the coach he didn't want him in the huddle. Coach Kiffin wasn't exactly upset when Judkins transferred. Not exactly good signs by any measure.

Not exactly good signs by any measure. Let me see if I get this straight. In a time when players can now get endorsement deals, he wanted to play somewhere he could make more money and you consider that a character issue? If he was such a bad teammate why is it nobody had an issue with him and he got along well at OSU? Not liking the school you're attending and wanting a transfer somewhere you can capitalize on your opportunities are not character flaws. Could you actually provide sources to back up your claims? I'm not trying to say they don't exists but we all know how butt hurt the SEC can be when they lose a great player to the Big 10. Some may call that a character flaw. That may be exactly what your "sources" were displaying or your sources may be more hacks than they are sportswriters. Factually what we all know is he wasn't even the feature back at OSU. He went there and shared carries with TreVeyon the entire time. A selfish or entitled player would have not wanted to do that. He would have made noise about it and been disgruntled. None of that happened. That doesn't bode well for the narrative you're trying to paint.

Valid points Pit. Look I don't know all the details of what transpired at Mississippi or anything else, but it seems like this kid is being dumped on for something he allegedly did which has since been dropped by the authorities. The whole thing could have been a fabrication. I'd like to see us sign him, give him a chance and see what he is as a player and person. We can draw conclusions then.

During Q3 of the Rams game Andrew Berry joined Joe Thomas and Chris Rose in the booth and was very forthcoming on topics like keeping a 4th QB and how that would impact other position groups, but when asked about Judkins he kind of stuttered and just said he doesn't have an update and they're taking it day by day right now.

Two things I want to add Pit.
These things aren't the end all be all or this shuts the case about him.
I tend to read elevenwarriors quite often.
One thing throughout last season at OSU, they would have quick videos where they would ask random players some fun questions. Who's the funniest person on the team, who's the smartest, etc. Quite often Q's name was brought up as the person they chose. Like I said, it doesn't mean a whole lot, but still if he was a bad teammate I would assume his name wouldn't be brought up by his peers. Especially when you have some really personable players on last year's team.
The second thing is the boards/forum over there. A few have ties to the team in some shape or form (i.e. know a staffer, know a player, or etc.) in Q's thread about this situation, most were surprised/shocked at the situation. I really don't remember any bad stories about anything. When Hall Jr. was in trouble last year during training camp, there were a few negative comments regarding him being immature during his time at OSU. The same can be said for other former players Eli Apple, Alex Boone, and so on.
Either way, there are so many factors that could be involved, maybe he was bad teammate/immature at Ole Miss, maybe Ole Miss was just toxic, maybe OSU coaches set him straight, maybe he changed. Who knows. We received the outcome regarding his court status; I'll just wait till we hear the next step regarding his signing.

Not that he went elsewhere. I have no issue with that. I am talking about moaning about things during the season.

Funny side note now that you mentioned Alex Boone. I went to elementary school with him and his older brother, JJ. Alex was in fourth grade when I was in eighth. He was bigger than me at that point in time.
Both Alex and JJ were absolute terrors, constantly in trouble. Both were huge with bad anger issues and never cared if they got in trouble.

Unhappy player moans = Character issues.

I can’t stand Florio and this article is another example of why. The fact is that it is against the rules and he would have to go to court and fight it. Now if he were to win in court I have no doubt he would find a school to take him but I doubt he would be able to raise his draft status next year, especially since he didn’t sign.

Talk about a leap of epic proportions. No, but it is a problem when the QB is asking the coach to take him out of the huddle, isn't it? Now i see reports he is looking to try to go back to college? I am not sure he can, but it is another little thing that makes me wonder about the guy. If he signs and is the best teammate, cool.

Now i see reports he is looking to try to go back to college? The word 'could' shows up roughly 1000 times in that article, and does the majority of the heavy lifting.

First, nothing about a player being disgruntled at a school is any indication of him being violent. That is what the discussion is about. You are trying to make a connection that simply doesn't exist here. And why do you think your perception of him being disgruntled at one school changes the fact he was an excellent teammate at a different school? And that was with him splitting carries there. Why does one stand out to you as you ignore the other?
I know why. It's yet another case of an SEC fan being butt hurt.

Since we haven't signed Judkins, does he count towards the 53 man roster? If not, maybe that is contributing to us waiting to sign him at this point.
Am I perfect? No Am I trying to be a better person? Also no

I don't think it's me who has come up with the wrong conclusion here.
Judkins isn't negotiating his contract. His agent is. Even you know that. By all accounts he was an excellent teammate at OSU.
And there are zero reports that "He's trying to go back to college." Only speculative reports about his eligibility to do so if he chose to.
If anything its the browns waiting to finalize his contract until this has all been settled with the NFL.

Considering the entire situation and considering all of factors that should be thought out when reaching an opinion, I still consider that a strong possibility.
