They want to make people think they take poor behavior seriously. Hand out the "big" suspension now. Slip Judkin's minimal punishment under the radar later once actual football is back and fans are busy focusing on their teams. It's likely about PR and their bottom line, competitive fairness be damned.

I try not to get too hyped up about rookies but it's hard not to with this kid.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Both of these rookies, Graham and Schwesinger are why I'm so excited to see this defense play this year. I think they have elevated the defense to another level. This team really missed JOK and I think Carson will get us back to where we were before he was hurt. I don't think we have had as good a D-lineman as Graham in quite awhile, it should make Myles life easier since they won't be able to shift the line to his side quite as much. I think he is going to demand double teams in the middle.

I think it's going to be a fun year... we need it, last year was brutal.

There's a lot to be excited about (or at least interested in seeing) with this team.

Not to be a wet blanket, but even if both of these guys do ball out, they are going to hit the rookie wall shortly after midseason. I'm working hard to keep my expectations in check, but I'm beginning to wonder if we're going to have they type of seasons good teams have right before they're good (very competitive but haven't yet figured how to close out games).

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

right there with you. Completely different type of player than JOK but the vibe im getting is uber positive. Trying to think of a guy we drafted i was as high on as him rookie season .... Maybe Baker. Maybe Njoku. Hope he pans out better than both ...

I'm excited for him too. It seems like he has the athleticism, motor, and smarts

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Is the rookie wall still that prevalent? I feel like since the NCAA increased the number of regular season games to 12, now teams are regularly playing 13 with a championship game, those teams given a bowl game makes it 14 and those in the championship series increasing to as many as 16 for the championship teams. That as well as increased training programs at almost all levels of college play have college athletes coming in almost better shape than many veterans. Schwesinger who has always played with a high motor probably won't see it as much as Graham who's energy is spent in spurts. I would have worried more about Judkins if he came in and became a workhorse after spending his last year at tOSU on a RBC system.

Regardless, it's going to be exciting for the opening to the season.

You may be right. I always thought it had more to do with their final year through off-season and going into training camp. They (some more than others) are flying around doing interviews and prepping for the underwear olympics and the draft, and then have to flip right around and pack on some more weight (especially the big fellas) for the upcoming season.

Amen, I wonder how many other ROOKIES have earned the green dot on other teams.....it is unheard of....he's shown he's special. I dream of Schwartz blitzing him over and over again- heat seeking missile with THUMP....sweetness.....GO Browns!!!
