You assume I was against what Facebook did. As for Truth Social...I don't even know what that is so I don't have a comment on that.
As I said in my previous post, Free Speech does have parameters, and it does have consequences. The problem is in the interpretation. Most times it depends on who is talking and who is listening as to where those parameters reside.
I am as guilty as all that when typing on this board that in exercising my free speech I know if my intent is good or being used to irritate someone.

I responded by pointing out why Trump had accounts suspended and why it is different than a discussion about 'Free Speech' ... I didn't assume you were for or against FB or whatever, in the end it doesn't matter because what is or isn't on FB isn't actually free speech, you need to comply with the terms and conditions of a private company. Beyond that I haven't commented much other than to ask where free speech ends and incitement begins.

The lone serious issue with any COVID vaccines available today was the risk of myocarditis in young males who took the Pfizer vaccine. This side effect is extremely rare, and the overall benefit of the vaccine FAR outweighs the risk... with the usual preface of you should heed your doctor's advice regarding this risk.
Other side effects/risk that were identified were actually associated with the Jansen and/or Astra Zeneca vaccine, which is a traditional type of vaccine vs the mRNA. One or both of those were pulled off the market in the USA due to these risks.
Dissenting opinions aren't necessarily wrong. Leaning on opinions that run counter to verified science, on the other hand, is nutty. And the underlying reasons behind doing that, in this case, are wrong.
If you are at a heightened medical risk of being affected by the COVID vaccine, then don't get the COVID vaccine. That is your opinion. I know people in the medical field that states they were many ways to treat covid but the government held them back because they wanted 1 way to treat everything. So while Dems made all the wrong decisions like the New York Governor who put covid patients in nursing homes they did not allow medical officials to treat the causes. I agree with most of this. Only two things I take issue with. One, because it's just plain false. The other because it's pretty thin on perspective.
First -- the risk of myocarditis in young males who took the Pfizer vaccine is 38 per million. The risk of dying from COVID among that group is between 20 and 50 per million, depending on region. So, saying "the overall benefit of the vaccine FAR outweighs the risk" is FALSE.
Next -- since Omicron we've learned that COVID gives not one $%^ if you are vaccinated or not as far as being infected or lowering someone's ability to spread the virus. Now we're at a point where only 1 in 5 Americans are even receiving the boosters. How would this hold any water... "Hopefully you live among folks where you can take some comfort that others are getting vaccinated and therefore your risk of infection is still lowered." Lower my risk by what? One hundredth on one percent? When you match facts and math, this statement sounds more like virtue-signaling than anything else.
I'm not heaping scorn as much as I'm pointing out the (still) ongoing demonization of those who haven't been vaccinated. It's absurd, especially since 89.4% of the population has been infected by COVID whether vaccinated or not. Too many people shouting "Science!!" while totally ignoring the fact that the same nucleocapsid antibodies are present in those who have been infected whether vaccinated or not.
I don't care what degrees someone has. I have multiple degrees myself. In the US no one gets to determine what goes in my body besides me. Case in point, I don't believe that Day of the Dawg is an adolescent/young male... and yet he felt compelled to post (the one I responded to). I'd even hazard to guess that he doesn't even know the specific vaccine-related side effects identified and which vaccine they're associated with... only that "vaccines = bad". Look, I actually don't begrudge anyone not getting the vaccine for legit reasons (and someone else's medical stuff is none of my business)... but let's not pretend that's what's behind this debate. Same poster then doubled down in a subsequent post that he trusts RFK Jr (he's a lawyer, not a doctor).
Similarly, I can also understand the sensitivity behind "vaccine shaming". The only argument (if you want to call it that) is that that whole hysteria peaked when people were, in fact, dying from COVID. People forget that the mortality of COVID was in the range of 2-4 percent before the vaccine.
That is what made it so deadly. It was new to the world and it would kill people.
The vaccine made a big difference, people would not get covid and if they did, it was not deadly.

The proceedings lasted over four hours. I had them on in the background turning to watch when things got contentious by her acting off the hook which was quite often. I'm not sure what "a neautral" is but if you mean someone that is neutral I think they would have called her a mess as well. She dodged and evaded questions on several topic such as Epstein, the charges against Comey and many other questions by attacking those asking the questions and just generally sounding unhinged.
