You're trying to make it sound like a solution to the QB situation was out there and we chose to pass. With Watson still on the payroll our options were even more limited than usual. We wouldn't have even been able to afford the likes of Darnold or Geno Smith.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

He is going to play. Period. That is all we know.
I am glad you are not making decisions. Not that I would do better or that the current regime has not made mistakes.
I don't know how long it will take. Bills, Ravens, SF, SD, Lions and many others have not figured it out as well. And they have good quarterbacks.
We are years away. I don't care who is running the show.

Just let Gabriel play. If he's not very good so be it. Don't forget we have Sanders waiting in the wings! lol Oh, I just read that Flacco is now behind Gabriel, not Sanders. Doesn't lend much confidence in him. Which again shows the incompetence of this FO. They drafted him but have 0 confidence in him. Why did they trade Pickett instead of cutting Sanders. Makes no sense. Unless they're not trying to win games. Are you hinting at they might be tanking this season? Not that far-fetched. I don't know. Regardless, let's see what Gabriel can do. Who knows, we might have a decent QB here. With a bad offense line. And questionable receivers... And....
