We aren't in a position to turn up our noses at WR help.

Grossi was pounding the table for the Browns to draft him because we wore size XXL gloves. lol

Honestly, what difference does it make?

If Dillon plays great neither will play.

If not. It might be Zappe for an in game injury and Sanders if he gets a full week to prepare.

I was right there with him. Not because of glove size, because he was a big, physical WR with good-to-great ball skills in the NCAA. I thought he would be the perfect #1 for our new superstar QB Deshaun Watson.

That was back in my reefer smoking days.

Completely reasonable. Grossi had never seen him play at all but had heard while at the combine he wore size XXL gloves and that was enough for him to bang that drum.

He was awesome his last year at Arkansas. I would not be opposed with the Browns kicking the tires on him at a low cost.

I'm curious how his medical would translate to hitting the ground running with a new team.

I read that he was medically cleared, but still wonder if that could hamper his getting up to speed.

Here's a Titans fan's perspective:

Came in as a rookie really out of shape. Started to get rolling, then suffered a turf toe injury and went on IR. Came back, had a couple of great games, then got KTFO'd by a cheapshot by the Eagles. Last year, he looked to be in amazing shape, but had a knee injury and more concussion issues. Then Levis took over and absolutely wouldn't look his way under any circumstances.

He's good for 1 manufactured touch for 7 to 9 yards per game. Titans fans hate him for not being AJ Brown. He has terrible body control and Levis throws everyone covered, so he has no real hope of making big plays.

Hard worker, seemingly good dude, seems to have lost all self confidence. He deserves to not have to play for us.

Here's a robot's (AI):

The main "knock" on Treylon Burks, beyond his well-documented injury issues, centers on his inconsistent performance and skills limitations. Criticisms include his lack of confidence, poor hands, and inability to catch contested passes reliably. Observers note he has a "horrendous catch radius" and mediocre route running, which together hamper his effectiveness as a wide receiver. Additionally, he has been characterized as not athletically dynamic enough to compensate for these flaws and tends to be an easy target for defenders, leading to interceptions and dropped passes. Overall, these deficiencies contribute to a lack of trust from teammates and coaches, with some deeming him a draft bust unless he significantly changes his playing style and performance level.

We knew about his route running -- that was his biggest knock coming out. The catch radius in college was great. The ball skills were great. The RAC was elite. He made contested catches like it was his job. He was never athletically gifted; he was a big dude (6'2"/ 225) that played bully-ball.

College scouting:
Sells his body out to make the catch.
Leaps and plucks it way up the ladder with strong hands.
Stiff-arm and build-up speed to make a short catch a long gain.

I have no idea what happened that set him on this course, but we all know how things go when you're stuck on a team that has no confidence in you. A change of pace will tell the ultimate tale. And as DOD said, I would kick the tires. What would it hurt, would it destroy the delicate balance and confidence of the WRs we have in the room now?

Can he be any worse than what we have now?

Good info grab. I don't see how it could hurt the WR room.

We've got ourselves another Nick Chubb! We all know what else we need on O. A QB, 2 OT, and a # 1 WR."

This is like Deja Vu, LOL, this has been the story many times over the last decade

I'd try for Burks. We have horrible WRs. If he sucks he'll fit in

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Meanwhile, Baker will be taking the bucs back to the playoffs… hope it feels good to all those who wanted him gone. Gabriel is Baker light.

I agree, but that is well in the rearview mirror.
